2 Champions League, 10 League titles, 4 FA Cups, 2 League Cups, 6 Community Shields, 1 Uefa Super Cup, 1 Intercontinental Cup.

Show me a team (with the exception of Liverpool & Man Utd) who wouldn't want that on their C.V. let alone a player.

One of many little sub plots in this amazing games.

Nobody could begrudge him this moment, and what a penalty! modest pro and a great guy.

A true legend of man utd, the premier league and the champions league.

And perhaps his form has not been great recently but I thought when he came on he played well.

Also pleased for the other "veterons" scholes and van der sar.

I had dreams of Cardiff lifting the Cup and a Cardiff lad lifting the European Cup. Alas, the FA Cup was not to be but well done Ryan -fitting he should score the penalty that won it

It made my night when Giggs lifted the trophy along with Rio Ferdinand, I was thinking on the way up to receive it, would they let Giggs pick it up considering his achievement, and yes they did, I had tears in my eyes, also Sir Bobby Charlton walking up with the players but refusing a medal on the basis that he hadn't played in that game, something to tell my grand kids about, I might not have been there but I watched it on telly and it is a night you will never forget.

As a Man City I will be looking forward to another SIX points off United next season... as for the Moscow game hmmmm well it was another weird fluke as in 99' John Terry only had to hit the target because Van Der Sar dived the wrong way but how can you legislate for the luck Man Utd enjoy... its bizzare...

PLASTIC UNITED FANS spring to mind... Prawn sandwich brigade, by the way MUFC are now £1 Billion in debt yet they continue to buy players and extend the contractsof current staff hmmm eventualy something will give,had they lost to chelsea(sorry DREW but won on DEFAULT) they would have been in trouble, stil HEAVEN CAN WAIT!

Its great how many people have stopped saying that he is past it and he has outstayed his welcome and all the other tripe that i used to hear on the terraces and pubs. Giggs has and always will be United through and through and im so happy he shut the masses of pessimistic united fans up. And its true a lot of my fellow united fans are downers. Giggs should be able to do what he likes without judgement at united not for the champs league but for much earlier than that, but some people forget the fa cup semi final goal!
