Disappointing to read Sanath Jayasuriya wont be available for our Twenty20 Cup campaign so quite simply, who would you like to see replace him? Id be surprised if its an established international but will be interesting to see who Ashley Giles can bring in...does anyone know who has been impressing during the IPL that we could try and sign?

Yusuf Pathan, he is an all rounder who bowls offspin and clobbers the ball all round the park when batting. Dunno about a work permit though.

Indian cricketers would be very busy and probably expensive.Better off trying with Watson,Morkel etc..

Shaun Marsh, Luke Pomersbach, Rohit Sharma and Yusuf Pathan all look great prospects.

As an all-rounder Pathan would make a good replacement for Jayasuria. Marsh should be Warwickshire's first choice though because he has the best technique to deal with English conditions.

Albie Morkel would be terrific signing after what he did in the T20 world cup. Smashing 6s and Bowling relativly well. He is just what the Bears need.

Also howabout Tim Southee?

Visit www.iplt20.com and click on stats section. You will find your answer. Question is can English counties afford these guys? Am not surprised Jaysuriya declined!

Go for Gambhir, if you can afford him.
or Watson, if you can afford him.

better trying to look for homegrown talent, then sell them to the IPL and make a transfer. Thats what all franchises and clubs do, dont they?

Thanks for your responses, some very interesting players being mentioned. Perhaps the best option would be to blood some youngsters because theres still alot of cricket to be played after the Twenty20 so maybe they would benefit from the exposure...

I was wondering this too, I hope we sign someone exciting as losing Jayasuriya was a massive blow. How about Jacob Oram or Brad Haddin?
