Hey guys, Im in two minds about whether or not to get the hatton fight on the weekend. Anyone know what the undercards looking like? Obviously I know we got paulie v n'dou, but any other decent fights that gonna make it worth shelling out for?

Have to say that I agree with this Ronnie Shields. With his awful lifestyle between fights, Ricky Hatton's career is definitely not geared for longevity. It's a short career in boxing and you would have thought Hatton would refrain from binging on alcohol and takeaways between fights if he was truly dedicated to being the best he can be. I don't think a lot of British sportsmen realise quite how much of an impact these kind of lifestyle choices have on the body and the level of performance.

Ronnie Shields = The only person in the UNIVERSE that had Hatton ahead at ANY point during the Mayweather/Hatton fight.

Hatton got destroyed by the better boxer from the opening bell to the point he got gubbed and went down, everybody knows this, even Ricky himself knows this.

Way to devalue Mayweathers abilities, Shields, you chump.

I'm in two minds as well.

No I'm not.

I am too.

Am I?

I think I am.

Am I sure?

Well, not really.

But I might be?

Yes.

Oh. Right.

Don't go and don't get the PPV, it'll probably be a decent fight but it's no more exciting for me than Khan vs Gomez.

Actually, you know what'd be a better fight? Amir Khan vs. Gomez from the Addams family.

Totally agree withronnis shields , rickies lifestyle is affecting him big time. Why carn't he no longer fight with the intesity he showed in the Tzu! It can only be one thing as its not is age or that he as been in a lot of wars. The main problem is all the damage he is doing to his liver, this is the bodies main engine responsible for getting rid of toxins helping break down lactic acid and a store house fo glycogen the bodies energy! If not working at full capacity stamina is going to be affected big time. So ricky you need to get real and start being a professional or your on a for a big dissapointment if its not to late already. What was plainly obvious to me in the mayweather fight was it was as much ricky's legs going as the punch which sent him down! And in is first welterweight outing he was knackered in the last 3 rounds and thats when he nearly got stopped. So Ricky needs to make a decision does he want the lifestyle or the glory which one is most importantto him cos ya carnt have both simple as!

I think it will be a decent fight if Lazcano isn't too ring rusty. Hope Ricky puts on a good show, otherwise he could do the same as The Prince.

Agree totally there. His legs had gone. When had we ever seen that before, even during the tougher bouts, including Tzsuyu. Stamina is now Hatton's biggest challenge, and when he's looking for 2-3 more big big fights, it doesn't bode well. If Hatton is really liver-challenged (new word - Oxford Dictionary smiley) then his stamina cannot improve. So, he needs more intelligent fighting skills and not purely first 6 rounds of all out aggression. This might be his toughest challenge, but not cos it's Lazcano... we'll see. Hope I'm wrong. 11th round KO for Lazcano.

check out www.boxrec.com and select the schedule to see the full undercard on Saturday night. I have every respect for Ricky Hatton, and have paid to watch him fight at the MEN, but this should not be PPV, Sky Sports subscribers already pay premium money, without shelling out another £15. Sentanta charge £10 per month for their sports channels, and didn't up the price for the top boxing action they have shown over the last year or so. Good luck anyway Ricky, this is a tough fight.
