Wasps are through to Twickenham. Can they give Lawrence Dallaglio one last laugh?

I think that Bath dominated the first half and we were thankful that Barkley's kicking was so poor and that they couldn't score a try. When the try finally did come, Wasps simply zoomed up the pitch and got two on their own. Cipriani getting the conversion in the corner was quality- we'll miss him. Being 7 down after being so dominant must have been a real kick in the nuts to their players.

The second half started pretty flatly, but for some reason Cip's injury (looked pretty bad by the way) invigorated the team and they managed to push on and get that try from Voyce's run, although was it maybe holding on? (I couldn't see, too far away)

After that, it was all about defence. The situation with the team itself was makeshift. We had one lock as prop, and another sampling the delights of the backrow, and once Flutey had gone (probably deserved) we looked up against it. However, I was very proud of the way the boys dug in and defended against Bath. It was inspirational. Then once they got possession they ran down the last five minutes in expert fashion. Throughout the game they were much better in the line-out and scrum, which is worrying, but we just went forwards more when we did have the ball.

The crowd were brilliant, the best all season. The roar when Lol ran out for the last time was the loudest I have heard at Adams Park, and it set the tone for the game. I think they actually let more than 10,000 people in because there were many people standing in front of the Bucks New Uni stand.

Unlucky Cipriani, and unlucky Wasps for not having him. Hopefully he will recover as soon as possible, but right now there is a more immediate test.

Just got back from the game..absolutely brilliant..after 25 minutes i had thought we'd get beat , we were so poor, but then we just took over, and ran out deserved winners. Excellent match by both sides, physical, too many injuries, especially Danny's...but we showed why we are who we are, and why we get to finals.Brilliant defense, attacked well too, and Sackey..is this man just awesome..his tackling was brilliant today..an excellent atmosphere, an excellent day. Cheers LOL..

Brilliant atmosphere, never known it like that at Wycombe.
The Bath pressure for the first 30 minutes was incredible, but only brought the one try from a Wasps mistake.
Wasps only needed just 3 minutes at the other end to score theirs.

A terrific game and the battle around the contact area was immense.

Anyone watch the Sharks game last night I reckon 80% of tackles led immediately to a free kick. Send those ELV's back to Middle Earthwinkeye

Great perfrormance from the boys, thought the defence was back to its best today and some of the hits that were being put in were brilliant.

I think riki at 10 for the 31st with dom and fraser in the centres should do the trick,

The atmosphere was awesome today, beats the leinster game from last year. The ovation when laurence appeared on the big screen when walking out the changing room was amazing, just hope he gets a great send of at twickenham, hopefully with a trophy in his hand.

I was very impressed with Sackey's defence in this game.

I've always felt he lacked a little in this department but Bannahan tried to battle through him early doors to prove this weak defence and came off second best.

Thats the best I've seen Sackey defend

Banahan didnt get any quick ball and didnt get a chance to show what he can do in space though he did do very well with the ball he was given making quite a lot of ground

must have been a different game than I watched. The only time Banahan made ground was when he had space to build up speed, then was promptly stopped at the first tackle. He will never be as good as Sackey, who has improved his defence and awareness enormously this season. At the end of the day, he is a fast, ex, second row, playing catch up in the wing education department.
