Frank Warren, Audley Harison's bigggest critic in recent years, may be on the verge of landing him a shot at a genuine heavyweight title. I cant believe it, does he deserve the shot.. absolutely not. Will he get KO'd, ofcourse he will!

But as Tim Bradley proved, no one should be overlooked and if warren does pull it off, its probably Harrisons last hope of geting anyweher near a title. Can you immagine it, Audley Harrison WBC Heavyweight champion!!!! not a hope in hell.

Somebody asked if they were the only one who thought "A-Hole" could do it? Well, I completely agree that A-Hole has all the skills and physical attributes to be a contendor but he has absolutely no heart and no aggression. Combine that with a dodgy chin and you have someone who is completely NOT a contendor.

Power and pace are worthless without the drive to use them. Whether Harrison actually has the vision to use his skills is up for debate as well, as all we've ever seen in his pro fights is him cowering behind his own jab or cross.

To see a boxer with such potential throw half hearted single punches before stepping back to assess his opponent, even when he's reeling, is infuriating. I wonder if A-Hole thinks a flurry is something you get in McDonalds?

I watched him early doors a couple ot times when he had just turned pro and he did look really skillful but was that not maybe because he was fighting mediocre opponents?
I watched that fight he had with Danny Willimas and it was an embarrassment. He only started to fight in thelast 2 rounds if I remember right.
I read Joe Calzaghes auto bio last year and found out he was handed 1 million soon as he turned pro from ITV I think. He has no heart I think because he never had to really fight to make the money. A cool million is not that bad!

Maybe they're fighting him together, it's the only chance they have of actually winning.

I know someone who was in Harrisons 'entourage' when he first turned pro, In his own words they knew that he (Harrison) was not good enough to be a genuine world champion but he had enough commercial sense and marketiability to make sure he and the people around would earn well. He also said the problem with Harrison was power, that he couldn't punch his weight and because of this he's afriad to stand a trade at close quarters and risk getting caught. He said this years ago it made sense then and more sense now.

haha brilliant comment. The worst part of this is whichever of these no-hopers gets the chance i'll still end up watching it.

Personally I hope Harrison gets the nod ahead of Skelton. He's got a lot of spirit and heart Skelton but he's had his chance and didn't do much and I think this fight would be exactly the same. At least if Audley gets a go then after he loses maybe, finally, his so-called career will be over and he can stop telling anyone who'll listen how one day he'll be heavyweight champion.

Anyway when does Alexander Povetkin get his chance? How can Harrison or Skelton get a shot ahead of him, or as a lot of other people have said, ahead of any top 10 fighters? And the promoters wonder why people aren't so interested in the Heavyweight division anymore.

I don't even rate Sam Peter that highly.

Skilled boxers who turn up in shape can beat him.

Klitschko beat him with some to spare DESPITE 3 knockdowns.

Toney ran him close, and he's a blóódy middleweight!

A focussed, in-shape Audley Harrison has a shot!

Just shows you what a shambles the heavyweight division is - neither should get a crack at the title.
