McCullum also got 97 for New Zealand by the way. They cancel each other out.

True enough England would have been sunk without Vaughans 100, but what a turgid batting display by England. I was at Lord's yesterday and only Cook,Sidebottom and Broad looked like trying to push the run rate along. All the others looked complacent and happy to trickle along for a draw. Where's the fight? -England should have pushed on got 120ish lead and put them back in after tea and try for the win. As for Vaughan's ton it had all the attacking flair of Geoffrey Boycott !!

Very rough night last night, currently sitting at work listening to customers chew my ear off for a very well known insurance company. Theres a million and one things i'd rather do, see and hear one of which is the soooothing lull of Geoffery Boycott's voice, combined with the noise of ball on bat.
