shrimper... i think you'll read on this thread a mix of wind ups and balanced comments from both Leeds fans and others. There are quite a few Leeds fans on these boards (and no... that's not a 'we're a big club' thing, just an observation), consequently you're going to see plenty of wums. don't think its proportionately any different to any other club.

As an aside. I've been a Leeds fan all my life. I think our support (numerically, rather than in terms of passion) is pretty poor. Leeds is the third biggest city in the country, has only one team to support and that club has a reasonable history of success that generates support outside the city. There are a number of nearby smaller towns with clubs that draw some support, but no more so than any other major city. Liverpool supports two premiership clubs, Birmingham has several big clubs as does manchester... sheffield has two well supported clubs. etc.

Belongs on another thread, and it comes from a fan who doesn't live in leeds any more and rarely gets to games these days, so i'm an armchair supporter myself. Just an observation.

If we get outplayed on sunday, or just dont get the rub of the green etc but give 110% then yeah I'd be disappointed but it wouldn't be the end of the world...

both clubs are to be creditied for being in this position.. I just hope that the result is a reflection of the better team's performance, rather than a bad refereeing decision etc..

a good end to end cup final that will have the yourkshire folk talking about it for years maybe..??

it's going to be one hell of an atmosphere that's for sure..

Totally agree with you. I think both teams are there on merit and I just hope it is a great final.

The last two finals I have seen the whites in we have been abysmal (Championship Play Off and League Cup Final 95 I think it was - going back a bit I know)so I would be more than happy with them simply having a right good go at it even if we end up getting beat.

Having said all that I have a sneaky feeling that we will be OK on Sunday - felt the same about the second leg against Carlisle but was always worried about the first leg at home.

If you do beat us fair and square then good luck to you.

Good luck donney give Leeds a good kicking and then we will see you back at oakwell we owe you for the defeats we have had from you in league one.

You deserve promotion more than leeds as you have come a long way in the last few years Besides even though we have a much worse recent record against you than we do leeds donney is a south yourkshire derby where as leeds is only a yorkshire one. I would rather play you and hopfully get some revenge.
