lol@ Newport finest im sure turner would much rather have the dragons with their facilities spending power stadium and player strength than the ospreys

and we all know no one has ever broken a contract or been bought of a contract in professional sport ever

My Ospreys season ticket renewal form came through the door today, Call me a cynic, but the timing of all this does seem a bit convenient.

Thanks Lyn you did a great job getting the Ospreys to where they are now, the fact that so many fans ,like me, can be so upset that we didn`t go on to the HC this season says so much in such a short space of time. Best of luck for the future.
Who takes over is not our choice as supporters, our choice is to follow or not. I must say that some of the comments I`ve read over the last two days have made me wonder whether I want to carry on being a part of Ospreylia. I refer to the obviouse bias that`s showing from the Swansea section of the Ospreys fans, the talk of Cuddy losing control, too Neath orientated, any coach connected with Swansea is ok anyone connected with Neath Urrrr.
This dismays me I`m most definately NOT a Neath fan but neither am I a Swansea fan. I am an Ospreys fan full stop. I want to see the O`s reach the very top, play Munster or Wasps in a HC final. To do that requires one thing , a good team well coached.
So get your blinkers off, forget parochialism lets have the best coach we can get and start winning.

Cracking post by Ospreylian 1. Ruddock will never coach the Ospreys and Mike Cuddy definitely has not lost control. Lynn has achieved far more in 5 years than any Welsh regional coach-What has Young won with the same if not more money at Cardiff?.Lynn is a good coach and is brilliant at identifying and bringing on young talent .Ryan Jones was a reserve lock at the Warriors and look at him now along with Ian Evans Alun Wynn and Hooky to name but a few .Lynn can leave with his head held high and be proud of his achievements at the only true and best region in Wales.

By common consent though, Lyn Jones had taken the Ospreys as far as possible, however to be fair he has not done badly, 2 Magners Leagues titles, and 1 EDF.

We all want to see the Ospreys go from strength to strength, and Mike Ruddock has done great things for many different sides.

To go forward we need a top/world class coach if we are striving to be the best in Europe.

The current background structure of the Ospreys with Cuddy/Blyth seems to be working fine, so I see no reason to change it.

I was only saying 3 weeks ago there was no competition amongst our regional coaches. Now we have 2 gone in as many weeks. Nigel Davies has conveniently gone to the Scarlets to suit the WRU. I agree that the Ospreys need to find a new coach to stretch the players further. It can only benefit the Welsh team if a major coach is found for the Ospreys. However how do we develop good coaches in Wales?

IslingtonOsprey - your comments relating the alleged poor man management skills to the departure of a number of players is way off the mark.
I know that Lyn has sat down face-to-face with a number of squad players and explained that they face limited game time next season if they stay at the Ospreys. He then gave them the option of seeking a move to another region/club where they would be assured of first team places. The fact that a number of them chose to leave is a reflection of the fine job Lyn has done in recruiting and developing a large, talented squad where competition for positions is very competitive.
I would be far more concerned if Lyn had been recruiting players who weren't regular first team members at the original club.
