well done indeed to valentino he rode a blinding race, as too did jorge, when that boy is fit he will be a force to reckon with, i remember saying to her in doors that if it rains then lorenzo woould do well to pull in and not endanger himself anymore with those crippling injuries but he proved me wrong, edwards ran a great race and its great to see him back to his old self, i think the pressure that he put on himself being a factory rider last year didnt do him any favours, what happened to hayden?? he doesnt seem to be getting on at all with this years bike maybe that will change when he gets the pneumatic valve engine. as for jt he was really unlucky to be punted off by dovi but like he said its a racing incident, i think personally he will do better next year when he has had a year to find his roots, but as for him not cutting it in motogp in my limited knowledge he is the best brit for a number of years this early into the season.

A very exciting race, at least at the start. I was delighted to see Rossi winning so well but I look forward to more fighting in the next races. Lorenzo was unbelievable and I am now a great supporter of him, he will give us many more exciting races. As a Ducati fan I was very disappointed by Stoner and Melandri: Stoner has a fit every time is pushed back and Melandri is not performing at all. I have a soft spot for Dovizioso and I am sure he will get better and better. Little Pedrosa is doing very well but should start smiling a bit.
I will be smiling a lot next weekend when I will be at Donington for the BSB smiley

Great to see Rossi hit the front again and show how good he can be with a decent bike and tyres under him.
Shame Stoners challenge fizzled out
- denied yet again the race we've been waiting for
- just as it looked like Casey and his team have sorted out whatever was wrong with his Ducati/Bridgestone package.

If both runners were strong - what a spectacle!! - We're waiting....

Lorenzo - he is going to be an absolute monster of a champion
- yet another gutsy performance
- another warning shot to Rossi & Co.

Edwards - Great performance (cant help but like him for his honesty and hard work - a bit of a nearly man now - it'd be great to see him chalk a couple of wins up before he moves out of Motogp
- he above most others deserves it for all the great races over the years in Superbikes and Motogp.

Got to hand the strategy award to Yamaha - they have all the bases covered
- Rossi on Bridgestones to deal with Casey
- Lorenzo on Michelin to deal with Dani
- Edwards & Toseland to deal with the rest
Result - Yamaha 123 and JT? - getting faster! he'll get there.

Mugello - I can't wait...

'I wouldnt call it a chip, i consider myself an ambassador for the sport...I started watching Motogp 10months ago'...I don't even have to comment on how outragous this sounds. You know nothing about the sport. You have no idea what you are talking about and no right to state my comments have no base when you don't understand the basics of the sport. Look Mr Chips I have had enough of your ignorance jamming this space. Id rather read comments by those who have a real interest in the sport rather than a passing fly by night whim. Some of us have been brought up with this sport, it is our life and our blood, rather than a passing fad because we have a crush on a rider. And I didnt write that I didnt care about the championship...that was someone else...keep up boy.

And for the record I am a big fan of Ducati, I have the upmost respect for Marco Melandri and was a a big supporter of Capirossi when he road a Ducati...oh maybe you are not aware Jet, that Capirossi was a Ducai rider... since you decided recently to follow the sport.

As I said before, having read a number of your responses, this is typical of you.
Your opinions are emotive, rather than support your argument with facts or counteract mine with any sort of tangible proof.

The length of time anyone has been watching any sport is irrelevant in a debatable environment, its the opinions they express and how they put their case forward that counts, but that clearly went straight over your pea brain.
Instead you jump in head first shooting your mouth off with head scratching ridiculous comments, missing the point entirely.

You like Ducati, but hate stoner? ok we get it!! So you want Ducati to do well, but not Stoner, is that it? So what exactly has the 11 time race winner and current champion done, that deserves such heavy criticism from you and I quote "he has shown his true colours by refusing to speak to the BBC"

....and so what, BIG DEAL!! That does not take away from the fact he has broken the monopoly of Honda and Yamaha in motogp, made it more unpredicatable and gave other lesser teams hope that they too can one day emulate Ducati.

Just for once, base your comments on the riders form and ability, instead of b*tching about stoner said this and stoner did that.

regards

Mr Chips.

PS: I like the new name. First sensible thing you have written all day.

Great to have Rossi back on top,he brings out the best in other riders who just could not catch him. Lorenzo is lokking like he is going to be ROssi's replacment when he packs it in. Nice to see Colin getting some luck for a change. Pedrosa not finished yet, but needs the new engine now,he is still a threat. Stoner not in the running yet, not going to be his year, and he needs to stop moaning all the time. The rest are to far away to worry about...Re Toesland...Just not good enough James...maybe you should get back to WSB
