I don't think anything in here is particularly unexpected. Good to see Little will be offered a new deal.

Cheers to the players who are leaving for their time at the club.

Anone know when Golbourne's deal runs out?
----
Fairly sure him and Osano are out of contract this year so presumably news awaited of whether they are offered new deals.

So happy to see the back of Oster, he hasn't contributed to this club in the slightest. I finally lost patience with him earlier this season when his appalingly bad work rate and failure to go into tackles got even worse. Also glad to see the back of a non-player like Halls. Both these players wee no where near Premiership quality, and would do well to get into any championship sides.
Little seems a strange one? Maybe light at the end of the tunnel with his injury?

OK, thanx Martin. I guess Golbourne's deal will be decided when they know what is happening with Shorey.

I have only ever seen Osano play once, and that was in a Carling cup match a couplle of years ago and he went on an amzing run from the edge of our box into their penalty area before losing the ball.

tharts a little unfair

he played in the championship winning season, and in our 1st ever prem season

he didnt ever excel, and failed eventually to cement a 1st team place

but to say he contributed nowt is just wrong

cheers to jonny O, good luck in the future, and thanks for all the fish

Can't help but feel he will come back to haunt us at some point! Premiership player he is not but I have no doubt he will be a good acquisition for a championship club this season.

No doubt everyone will boo him if he comes on for an opposing side and he'll feel right at home.

There aren't too many players we have released who have come back to haunt us. In fact at the moment I can;t quite come up with one who has, although there must be some ! Cureton ? No, Williams ? No, Tyson ? No, Forster ? No, Caskey ? No , Hughes ?, No. I'm sure someone will give us a few names....

Close, but the 3rd goal in a 5-1 defeat isn't too much of a haunting ! We need players who have scored winning goals, or hat tricks or goals to knock us out of cups / damage promotion chases / relegate us.

StevieCisagod,
Sorry m8, gotta agree with the other fella. John Oster contributed nothing in most games he played. He always thought he had too much time on the ball and persistantly gave the ball away either by dodgey pass or in possesion. (way more so than any other player)
A classic example of a player who never fulfilled his early potential when he was with Everton. I would've rather he tried to blood James Henry on the right after all the rave reviews we've heard over the past couple of seasons.
