Question for those objecting to Man City's place in Europe. Can you name the side who got in this season's UEFA Cup via the Fair Play award. If you can.... did you object to that club's inclusion then as strongly as you are to City's now?

At least it went to one of the half decent sides in the league that were contendors for Europe anyway.

No offence but Fulham getting the last place when they were almost relegated would be kind of stupid, although I guess this is just a bonus place really.

It was MyPa (Finland)BK Hacken (Sweden)and FC Nordsjælland (Denmark)- I'm amazed you can't remember the riots that broke out!

By the way - I'm not one of those objecting!

Unfortunately the sad, bitter fools who have whined about our (thoroughly deserved) entry would have probably prefered these guys to get in ahead of us.

We're top seeds for the Preliminary Round (Northern Section) - so a trip to either Eire, N. Ireland, Wales (not again!), Estonia, Lithuania, Faroe Islands, Iceland or Sweden beckons

i cant see why people are whinging, especially the villa fans. we all knew that this was in place at the start of the season so its pointless to moan about who got the place. if you want something to moan about, how about the 4 clubs that go into the Championd league, surely the title of the competition should mean that only champions enter it?. teams that do get into the c.l. and get knocked out then have another chance of a cup by being put into the uefa cup?? ludicrous idea. should be that the prem champions and the FA cup winners get into the CL, carling cup winners get into the uefa along with the 2,3,4,5 places in the prem league. i dare say that the villa mob will shout for sixth place to be included as well.
