Tommy and his team with Cadete, Di Canio Thom etc was the reason i become a Celtic Fan.

Cheers Tommy, an absolute legend!

Lennoxtown = The Tommy Burns Center - seems only fitting!!!

Stunned it not the words, i lost my mother to the same Cancer at 57!

It was always quoted that Tommy would want "Andy Goram broke my heart" on his headstone.

Well like all Rangers Fans and I bet if we all knew that if you were to be cruely taken away at 51 Andy Goram would have turned the other way for Pierre and Jorge that day.

Who cares for 9 in a row.
Who cares for UEFA Cups, Quadruples
Who cares!..... Well the enitre footballing nation does for you Tommy.

Thanks for the wonderful football and spirit in which your teams played with and hope that you get the nod over big Jock and Willie Waddell for the Scotland Heaven Team.

Class, Dignity and Faith sums you up mate.

I hope yer team gets you the Title this year as a fitting tribute.

A Rangers Fan

The only player I ever met who enjoyed just talking to your average man in the street and didnt see it as a "necessity".

All the accolades - legend, true gentleman etc are thoroughly deserved and the world is a much poorer place with people like Tam not in it.
To his family and friends, sincerest condolences, but also consider yourself to be the lucky ones to have had the company of such a spirit, even if it was for a cruelly short time.

Finally, many thanks to the Rangers fans who have bridged the divide to pay their respects. Sometimes, these are even more highly valued and just show how Tam was seen by all reasonable people.

RIP Tommy Burns
