I would tend to agree with that ranking, good to see someone give credit to not so flashy but so valuable players like Xavi and Fabregas. But you have to put Kaka somewhere in that list, probably after Messi, in second place.

Remember how he dominated the CL in 2006-07 and especially his show in Old Trafford. Although last year he didn't perform to his standards, you have to admit that there's only so much someone can do with an aging and past its prime squad like Milan's.

When at his best, Kaka is almost unstoppable and probably is the most complete player in the world. Better passer than Ronaldo, better finisher than Messi.

fantastic list of players but your forgeting gerard i would put him in above xavi gerrard is the best centre midfielder in the world he just has a shit international team.

I agree with Joe Cole, Messi is the better player. If we're comparing Messi with El Fenomeno, then that's a different matter...

Oh my days, reading back through this people claiming he's just an improved Robben.. Slower than Ronaldo, less skill.

He's simply going to be the greatest player ever to play pro football. He is godlike.
