Pompey showing more ambition than Villa is really hard for me to take. Still, i dont hold it against them. Good luck next season.

You have to understand that Harry's history in the transfer market is very good.
He brings in the players who you do not expect to do so well e.g Kanu, David James, and basically resurrects their careers.
Zarate would be an excellent strike partner for Defoe.

If you take him to the wayne rooney school of football education he will be good to play behind defoe.

Baros is only on loan, and I can't see him staying due to lack of goals.

Kanu is brilliant but can't last the full 90 minutes week in week out these days (some of his best work is done as a sub)

Nugent...well he's probably off in the summer

that leaves you with Defoe and Utaka (who harry uses as Right midfield)

I'd say we need another striker in the summer.

i think he would be a great buy. portsmouth do need another striker.

defoe is great as is kanu but he can't play every game anymore.
utaka is more of a wide player and is a bit inconsistent.
nugent is well short of premiership quality at the moment.
baros is on loan i believe and given his performances over the past few months i very much doubt pompey will make his transfer permanent.

nugent and baros will leave, utaka plays on the right these days with pompey, and lets face it, kanu is getting old. zarate would be class for portsmouth, in fact, i'd love to see him as a gooner. hes a robin van persie type of player, just that he doesnt get injured
