dj_mcav, it was I who stated that he shouldve won the first set quicker... But only because he had the perfect chance to do so. You dont really expect someone to lose a break from 4-1 and 30-0 up... Especialy from the way Murray played today!

He lost control after 30-0 in that game, and played too aggresively, but picked up for the rest of the match, and did not dissapoint! He avenged his defeat to Simon at last years Rome Masters with a sting in his tail!

A win is a win, and because of other results today and yesterday, I think Murray, regardless of what happens tomorrow, will be moving up to 11th or 10th!

Lets hope he can put up a fight atleast against Nadal tomorrow!

The foul-mouthed, spoilt Scot gets a lot of support and following on these boards. Is it because the Brits have nothing else, or is it because you genuinely believe he could be no. 1 (which is almost beyond belief, but...)?

potrodelpicasso it is very boring listening to you on these posts. It is clear that you dont like Murray, everyone who's seen any of your posts will know this. Those who support Murray so because he is the leading british tennis player by quite some stretch (in your view we should all be watching Jamie Baker and Boggo in the challengers because you have something against the kid) He also does have a great deal of talent, it might well not be enough to win him a major, but then how many players do.

Murray will always split opinion because his behavior is not always exemplery, but so what!! He is determined and he is a winner. If you don't like him fine, but dont post drivel on these boards, go and support someone else! Seriously its really boring listening to you whining about him all the time!

Seriously, he is unpleasant. Be honest, please. Do you support him merely because he is Scottish? Why not support someone else like Djoko or Nadal or Fed?

Im Argentine! I support Murray, because the first time I saw him play, he was entertaining, and played really well! This was when he was on the youth tour! I didnt know his name, i didnt know he was british, until after the game!
