Championship QPR
comment on the article

So now that it's official I will nail my clours to the mast - no, I'm not happy but will get fully behind him and his team - at least until it all goes wrong.....I just hope he realises we expect proper football and will not tolerate garbage.
C'mon you R's

Doesn't matter how much money he wastes so long as he makes some good signings, Flava Bernie and Laxmi will be happy

Dowie has to be given a chance, are all these so called Q.P.R. supporters that are slagging him off already, the same type that wanted Ferguson out before he turned the corner at Man U. Give the guy some slack and get behind the greatest club in the world. Whoever is in charge and whoever is playing,WE ARE QPR.

The guy's not a good manager, but you could do worse. The Charlton debacle was really the end for him in terms of reaching top standard management. But with the amount of money QPR have now you'd be surprised if they didn't at least win the playoffs next season, if they push for it.

Trick is to have the infrastructure to stay up before you get there, not loan half the squad from the prem or rely on ageing half-stars as one or two have done...

the money's there, just hope dowie doesn't try a quick fix...

Odds on signing Marcus Bent?

Will he do any better than he did at Coventry? personally, I expected a better manager to be appointed after all the hype and expectation.

One bad move after another, how come QPR appoint a manager with a recent track record of two sackings. I bet that Charlton Athletic, Coventry and Crystal Palace chairmen will be laughing out loud. Further to this diabolical appointment he bring baggage (Court Case against Crystal Palace, more time QPR name being banded about in the Courts not that he was with us when he lost case and appealed), if the owners truly wanted Premiership football and someone that could keep us there Dowie should not even have been considered, I dread what will happen next season. If he does get us promoted (Big if) he will be replaced by a bigname.

Gd luck Dowie, you're going to need it. You were not the fans first choice however we will get behind and HOPEFULLY you'll lead us to promotion. Just don't get cocky and buy your ex-players(no clinton morrison's or mifsud's).

Last time I checked his passport, Ecclestone was English.
