england to smash kiwis

International Tests England
comment on the article

Alright fellas,
with the first test looming large i wanted your thoughts on the outcome of the match.
I reckon we are going to absolutely slaughter this mediocre kiwi team. I mean what have they got to seriously worry us....... absolutely nothing. Not 1 single top draw performer, i honestly don't think any of their team would make our b team. Look at the bowling martin, mills and mason can you really see kp having nightmares about facing them no nor me. It is a buffet attack which our top six will be tucking into big time. As for there batting i thinks is even worse than their bowling. If there score over 200 i will be astonished.
Prediction England to win in 3 days.
Look forward to your thoughts.
The general

By the way how is Oz Ambrose going, he and Pieterson make England a half descent side don't they???

scored a ton in his second game but it was against a poor attack so the jury is still out. Expect him to fill his boots this series.

Okay, I'm not backing this guy up, 'cause even I know it isn't a walk in the park, but

"Have you managed to coerce a few more South Africans to play for you"

I think that's out of order. Pieterson - our only SA player - wanted to play for England partly because of the SA quota system. Also NZ have a SA convert of their own.

And no football digs! That's below the belt yikes

jimmy - NZ did have a SA convert, but we very quickly realised just how rubbish he was - he will now sink without a trace ... And not that I really want to stir this up again, but isn't Andrew Strauss a Saffa as well? winkeye

Yeah, put Prior in instead of Strauss!- hang on, where's he from?

La la la! ... I can see a recall for Jamie Dalrymple (Kenya) and Owais Shah (Pakistan), and Masceranhas (Australia) to go with Ambrose (Australia) ... As the crowd sung at the Oval test last year, 'you've got the whole world in your team' smiley

Sorry, just being a little wum winkeye

wendyballers got to love em.

I'd have

Vettori over Monty.
Oram over Collingwood.
Southee over Broad (well maybe in a few years).
Mills over Anderson.
McCullem over any English keeper.
Taylor if he plays straight (ie the last test series) over Bell (I expect some abuse from this one though).

Thats 5 to 6 players in the NZ squad ahead of the English. It's just that most of our other players aren't test class where at least all of England's are (in Sidebottom and KP 2 world class players).
