Graham Turner Manager Of the Season!!

League Two Hereford United
comment on the article

Congratulations to GT, He has worked so hard to pull this team together, a few weeks before the start of the season we only had 6 players or so. No one really expected to scrape together a mid table squad in 3 weeks, but against the odds with little money he pulled together a title challenging squad.

He has worked with so little money, I think our team cost hereford united around £30,000 in transfer money. Which is nothing compared to MK Dons or Peterbourgh.

The reason he has done so well in my opinion is because he is so passionant about the the club. He is the chairman, which most people would think would be a disaster.

Rhanks Gt for the 11 years of service to our beloved club. And well done on your award!!

COME ON THE BULLS!!!

What an absolute farce. So, presumably if Paul Gascoigne took over Bournemouth and borrowed a load of players from various championship sides and they were promoted then he would get manager of the season. Total tosh

tonytees if that is what you think then no side in league 2 would be suitable for promotion or manager of the season unless they had loads of money as MK Dons and Peterborough have this season! Turner made effective use of the resources he had at his disposal and the club is also stable financially! I think Turner has shown great skill and has been rewarded!

surley keith hill of rochdale should be the winner, with hardly any loan players used (not half a team like some, even though it's within the rules) and selling their leading scorer.
well done to GT but he rode on the back of contacts in the game to lend him their promising players, so hardly developing talent.

We were predicted 2nd actually! I suppose he deserved it. Good luck next season and finish above Peterborough!

Fully deserved, worked on one of the lowest budgets in the league. The entire squad cost £20,000 and that was for 1 player.

WELL DONE TURNER!!!!

Yeah well done GT, Ince and Fergie JNR had serious finacial backing, which makes the job easier managing by finance, GT did it by managing players.

Stop the sour grapes on loan players, you can only play so many at any one time, read up on the league rules, just accept it you franchise and posh muppets, GT did a proper management job at a so called unfashionable club.

Well done Graham and the Bulls Fans, you give all real clubs hope. Good luck next season.

Hear what you all say, and Jamer, have looked at the facts. In every other division the manager of the team that came top has won the award-Fact. MK finished with the highest number of points in any division-Fact. Most away wins for 40 years-Fact. Its not about who had the best resources, used loan deals best or where the team was predicted to finish at the start of the sseason. I am sure Turner & Paul Ince know where the award should have gone. No one likes us we dont care!!!!

I think, and I am not just saying this because I despise the MK Dons, that Turner getting Hereford promoted was more of an achievement that Ince winning the league and cup double

Saying its not about resources just shows that you take for granted being a wealthy club at this level . . .

That said Ince is a brilliant manager and I am sure will one day be managing in the premier league . . .

So you're argument is that whoever wins the league deserves the award? With that kind of analysis you should be writing for the press...

Burlfist - i'm pretty sure that all the other league managers are fully aware who did the best job.
