Did that cut you then???

From the lack of paragraphs, it seems you really put some anger into that when responding.

Shame your players didn't have the same fight last night.

Enjoy Marching on in League one.

Wow - you can even take the michael out of Leeds in a poetic fashion.

There you go again... assuming! No paragraphs.... criky, what a crime! I must be furious!!

There you go... happy.

No fight? Last minute goal?

You brought nothing to the subject other than arogance. Arogant that you speak for the nation, arogant that you managed to bring Sheffield into a subject that concerns them not one little bit.

Just call it retribution for years of Leeds based annoyance to other clubs and cities

Another sad night for Leeds Utd, out worked and out classed by little Carlisle, but thats nothing to worry about according to the Leeds boss, as he conducted his post match interview with a smirky smile on his face. He's proud of his players for that shambolic display. Defensively we bad very bad, midfield was clueless and produced little for the strikers.
Looks like another year in Division 3 for the not so mighty Whites. PO Leeds fan

As a Leeds fan I watched last night and was just so disapointed by the lack of ability we showed no strengh at the back, Johnson looked clumsy on the ball, our midfield seemed to lack the ability to pick out a leeds player when looking to go forward.

Whereas Carlisle looked far more mobile and attacked with real pace and purpose in fact they looked a decent side!

I have supported Leeds for over 40 years and its a sorry state to see us playing with so little passion and skill in such an important game.

We need to realise that this could be the start of a new begining and take our opportunity!!

I ask this again, if Leeds were so bad, how did they manage more possession and 21 shots on goal (10 on target) to Carlisle's 10 shots on goal (only 5 on target)?

tiptopmadcap, maybe your manager thinks you still have a realistic chance of getting through, given there's still only 1 goal in it and Carlisle have looked shaky at home in the last 6 weeks, seems pretty reasonable to me? Would you rather your manager like you had given up? If he and the players are to share your negative way of thinking, then it's a 100% guarantee you will be playing in League 1 next season and certainly won't be going to Wembley.

For those people saying Westwood will leave if we dont go up this is highly unlikely as he has said he wants to stay at carlisle and also carlisle dont want to sell him.

Hughes should have been sent off and you should except that Horwood got kicked in the head a few times and then Hughes and one of the other leeds players started shouting at Horwood for being on the floor.

Still carlisle played well and deserved to win the stats mean nothing its the shots that go in that count not the goals that get saved all they show is that our keeper is too good for leeds. And who scores first doesnt matter in the second leg if i remember correctly leeds were leading 1-0 at half time last time they played at Brunton Park and the game finished 3-1

NWHornet - I don't fully understand your defense of Leeds seeing as you have stated you are not a Leeds fan. One post defending them maybe, but not hree...?

As for the stats - its just goes to show that their use[less]ness. Carlisle looked much better on the ball, moving it around with flar and passion whilst Leeds looked laboured on the ball, regardless of their superior possession. Try and watch the next game then check out the stats to see if they relate to one another.

It's not just a case of me defending them, it's also a case of me entering the discussion as I said earlier as a neutral observer and raising a point or two regarding the game based on what I've read about it (not seen on TV as I said). Kinda what this site is about, don't you think? Do I have to be on the already crowded anti-Leeds bandwagon just because I'm not a Leeds fan?
