Chelsea 1 - 1 Bolton Wanderersby esssienisanengine (U10651266) 11 May 2008
Well we gave it our all this season, we didn't win today anyway though and Man United were always the favourites going in to the final day. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

Marvin Hinton Ruled (U7018790) posted May 12, 2008 United 248, I don't believe my position is wrong. There are many posters on these pages who just look at the result and get on just to wind true fans up. I would imagine that many of these posters have never been to a game. As for neutrals. Well do you think Fulham fans cared about United winning the league at the final whistle. Did Reading or Birmingham fans. Does any true fan really care if another team wins the Prem other than there own. No mate and I stand by if 'the tide turns so will alot of these so called United posters'.

currywala (U5384022) posted May 12, 2008 By saying winner takes it all in Moscow, Mr Grant took it for guaranted that Chelsea will beat Bolton, and they will be level on points with Manchester United. I hope he will learn the lesson and not make the same mistake again next year if he is still there as a manager at Chelsea. posted May 12, 2008 chelsea 4 the title why is it that chelsea have a go at qualified refs like steve bennet for not sending man utd players off and man u fans could do the same to ref that won't stop or card drogba for diving everytime a rival teams defender "brushes passed him" and if u are a qualified ref have som respect for the men and women like yourself who declare themselvies able to take charge of these diffcult and highly heated games!

richfemoscorpion (U10893156) posted May 12, 2008 The blues can only be praised considering the fact that at the start of this seasoon they were rocked by series of injuries and the shock departure of Jose Mourihno, they came to become a force to be reckoned with by taking their rightful place. The clash against Man Utd will showcase what they are capable of doing. I can only hope that Terry and Others who are injured should be well before the encounter. The Blues will give good acount of themselves in that match.

masssanneh (U8545157) posted May 13, 2008 You are right,Chelsea think that they will beat Bolton with full confident because of their home record and they expect Wigan to beat Man U or at least held them to a draw so that they can win the title. No things don't work like that.If you want to win the championship, you don't have to relied on others you have to do your own work and that's what Man United did. You underrate Bolton and you pay the price.Last season I read Micheal Essien's interview and says he is 100% sure Chelsea will be crowned as champions at the end of the season and in the end he lies. This time when Ballack scored 2 goals against United he said United have to forget about the league title because Chelsea are going to win it as they are the best team and in the end he also lies. All your preparations for your last home game has go to ZERO because you cannot even manage win with all your home support and United did it away with the less support.Come on United,Chelsea CRAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEED.

In Zola We Trust (U8296105) posted May 13, 2008 couple of things, first of all while you have to admire Chelski for putting up the fight they did, with key injuries and a slow start, then you have to question, did they throw it away? In my honest opinion I think they did. Two last minute goals vs Wigan and Bolton cost them BIG time. Did I want Chelski to win it, no but that was because I prefer the brand of football ManYoo play that's all. Regarding comments about biase towards SAF and ManYoo, then this the effect of being a successful team, if you spend the majority of the time in the oppositions half you will get the results required and it does make it very difficult for the opposition. Chelski fans - I have to ask, where were about 15,000 of you when you were crap? Comment on this article
