comment on the article

Guys, following the dramatic ending of the regular Guinness Premiership today, what are the bettings for Gloucester V Leicester Tigers, next Sunday at Kingsholm.
I personally think that Gloucester will be too strong, considering recent form, especially that this match will be played at Kingsholm. Gloucester's defense against Bath, was absolutely mouth watering.
Just under 12 months ago, Leicester smashed Gloucester to claim the title, but who will end up victorious this time round in Gloucester.
Guys, all of you, who do you think will go to the final out of these two teams, and why?

As a Bristol fan I have to say that Glaws will thump Leicester by 20 points, they are a far better team. Unfortunately I also think Glaws will choke in the final again and get beaten by Warps.

"a strong performance from Hipkiss will win the day"

He's looked fragile all season and in defence he just doesn't work well with Mauger. Personally I'm praying Ollie Smith gets recalled as he has been the form centre this season and he deserves one last run out in his native green, white and red.

Isn't Smith in the Marshall squad to play Shane Williams' though?

I went to the match and Hipkiss but in some great smashing hits and Mauger made a good break in our own 22 to set Murphy and Varndell off.

Mauger and Hipkiss will be more effective this weekend as they are starting to gel with the games they have had. Smith has been out so much that he won't have time to settle into the game against Gloucester and we really need to hit the ground running and "ambush them" as Corry put it.

Close game. Only the most ignorant Tigers fan (and I'm a reasonably ignorant one) can say Leicester have been a better team and our the favourites. We're bloody lucky to be where we are, and I think our chance comes from that high that we're on now - Gloucester always knew they were going to get a top 2 finish.

Well Gloucester have beaten Wasps (away) and Bath (home) in recent weeks so the confidence will be sky high in the camp but you never write off Leicester!

The key for Gloucester is Tindall being fit and Ryan Lamb being consistantly good throughout - also if it becomes a scrappy game I'd have Patterson on the bench as it could come down to kicks!

Those that write off Glaws and belittle our chances - those freashly baked Humble Pies will be well on their way to you, that's if Stuart Barnes hasn't eaten them all!!!

Glaws have momentum, a run of good form and are united. Leiscter have little momentum, have struggled all season and have had calls for there head coach's head.

Tigers team for the game:

1.Stankovitch
2.Davies
3.White
4.Wentzel
5.Kay
6.Corry
7.Herring
8.Crane
9.Ellis
10.Goode
11.Tuilagi
12.Mauger
13.Hipkiss
14.Varndell
15.Geordan Murphy

16.Ayerza
17.Chuter
18.Blaze
19.Croft
20.Lussocqu (or however you spell it)
21.Vesty
22.Ernile

Little concerned about the lack of mobility in the front row, why the hell Davies is playing is beyond me. Johne Murphy is injured which is a real shame as he has had a great season and Tuilagi has been well off form of late.
