good result for darlo well done.

a point would have been fair but thats the play offs.
good lukc in the second leg both teams.

there didnt look 3,000 dale fans there looked about 2,000

What an unbelievable match.

Well worth my 6 quid :D :D :D :D

When we scored the winner I've never ween such pandemonium in the west stand - superb atmosphere all the way through. Hopefully the game at Rochdale is as good as that, but to be honest I don't hold out much hope as that was absolutely amazing!

was there on the front row of the west stand and when we scored at the end it was immense. The feeling was great and to turn around and see the whole stand bouncing was amazing.
Credit to Rochdale they were great and probably unfortunate not to draw and the fans were great as well
Hope for a good game at Spotland next week!

What a game! Most entertaining game ive seen for a while. Nice to see a good crowd come and support aswell... anyone know exactly how much of the 8000 odd were from rochdale?

How many you reckon will make the trip to rochdale?

Would have thought about 2000 which was nearly as good as Pools a couple of years ago. First half was great then as usual Darlo lost the plot and let Dale come back at us so in the end, no surprise they scored. Penney should realise that this is one of the reasons we don't get bigger crowds. That and the poor catering such as duff beers and too few pies, not ot meention getting out of the car park!Fortunately we sneaked one so late in the game they couldn't get back. Howay the lads!

Fair comments.
Darlo should have scored 3 in the first 25 minutes.They played better than I have seen them for the last 3-4 seasons.
The Dale have a lot of youngsters in the team who have put us there in the first place and the occassion got to some of them, it won't do next Saturday.
Great atmosphere despite the fact that one big stand was totally empty. The same numbers at Rochdale and it will be electric, we only hold 10,000 !
Lets hope both teams play an open game and that the best one goes through as a result.
