Have Palace blown it?

Championship Crystal Palace
comment on the article

Following on from my thread its not over, looking at the stats makes for interesting viewing.

City have only lost an impressive 3 times at home while Palace have won 9 away.

Obviously the advantage going into Tuesday is with Bristol City.

I feel that Palace HAVE to score first which would then make it 2 2 but I am not that confident but will have faith untill its over.

Other Eagles fans views? Citys also welcome if they are friendly.

Any comments that are posted that are not about the game will be deleted.

Palace fans, what was warnock ranting on about, elliot tryed to get the ball as replays showed, carle, fear enough deserved a yellow for his challenge in the first half but the second half challenge on him was a sreight red, he wasn't even going for the ball. Our "celebrations" were hardly huge and also I don't think we "kicked you off the park" (thats what Wenger's ment to say) we OUTPLAYED you, understand Warnock, its called HUMILATY.

I have asked this in another thread, but again, I know that away goals dont count, but what about yellow cards, can we just kick them off the pitch at Ashton Gate and risk a few yellow cards? - Warnock said we did it in the last game - so why not do it big style and take a few yellow cards to the final?

City won fair and square, by far the better side.

Please, fair and square??? Warnock was bang on. You are a dirty team, but that is not something i can whinge about, the referee was scared but at least come tuesday we'll have a real referee in Howard Webb who will not tolerate your overly aggressive players!

It was never a red card, fair enough the challenge was a bad one, but he had his eye on the ball so Warnock was wrong for that one, but the referee should have had more balls and protected the players more.

I hope Palace stuff you, just for your premature celebrations and lack of actual football! Mcindoe's your only decent player, god help you if you get to the Premier League!

You weren't good at home this season. It was long ball long ball long ball and again a poor referee!

I have seen Bristol 3 times this season; twice on TV against Stoke and in the play off with CPFC and once live and at Ashton Gate against Palace where we were robbed by the inability of the ref to read the time. BFC are a thoroughly unpleasant side remeniscent of Wimbledon of years back. They should not go up. Our lads were kiecked off the park on Saturday with v little protection from the ref.

Having said that we simply did not turn up in contrast to the Burnley game. The ball retention was not good enough and Watson and Derry who are so important did not compare to their Burnely performance.

I would not bet on it but I have a sneaking feeling we may do it tonight.
