medium-pacer (U3466950) posted Jun 17, 2008 ChanderPaul is right now as Fred Truman would say, in his pomp, I have no doubt he will finish his TEst career with an above 50 average - most deserving quiet unsung player with an odd stance to be there I suppose (above 50 bracket)

SpeakingCivilised (U4846795) posted Jun 18, 2008 Since 1 Feb 1993, Australia has not lost a home series. If we examine the performances of touring batsmen in Australia and limit the analysis to those that played at least 10 tests, only 4 batsmen have averaged >40 runs - 3 Indians and an Englishman. Lara played the most tests in Australia, but averaged only 37 runs.
