I dont know what to think about Ollie.I have been saying get rid now for the last 6 weeks. He has played players out of position, seemed tactically inept.Got Our beloved club relegated to the f ckin 3rd Division for the first time ever.BUT,I keep thinking he did ok at Plymouth,he did ok at QPR.We had the second best defence in the Division.Only one goal would of kept us up(I know ifs buts and maybes). It is a fact a club gets nowhere constantly changing a manager and I think if we can get a bit of consistancy, and someone who knows where the back of the net is,we might have a chance in going back up.Unless Milan has a decent manager lined up then I think we should stick with Ollie(cant believe I have just said that)and when I say decent I mean someone like Paul Ince...What do ya all think?

Who you going to replace Hollowhead with?

Mandrick wanted Dowie when he was Coventry, god help you foxes if you do get Dowie.

What he did for Coventry was bring the team morale down to its lowest ever, he lost the dressing room, caused friction between palyers, only played players who sucked up to him, played players out of position.

the man was a total out n out twot.

he couldnt run a bath never mind a team, so if you foxes get him, please dont bank on coming straight back up,Dowie will want at least 20 - 30 million to get the players he wants and most of them will be ex players who havent done anything since he left them from wherever.

So good luck stick with Hollowhead he can get you back, then look at the local "Derbies" we will have.... The Trees, Cov, Wolves, Derby, poss Brum, oh happy days.

Stick with Ollie, He's done good in League 1 and we were in trouble long before he arrived.
Keep Ollie so he'll keep as many players as he can and we'll make it straight back next season, nows the time to make a new start with what we've got NOT like so many other times makeing a new start from Scratch.

Looking in from outside, I can see why people think he should stay. Stability is very important in football, you can't keep chopping and changing, cause it does cause trouble. But, its the Shef wed defeat that sticks in my mind. He talked it up, then mucked it up, and HID! Whats that about? I truly think he lost the plot. He needs to stop doing media rubbish, and concentrate on his bread and butter....FOOTBALL.

Hi OneTrueFox
I share your despair. I myself had no confidence for months that Holloway would be turn things around.
In my opinion, and as someone who has followed Leicester for over one third of their 124 year history, and has travelled around England (and Europe on the few occasion) I am of the firm opinion that Mr Mandaric must dispense, on Monday, with the most inept and uninspiring manager I have ever known at my club – and that list includes Peter Taylor, David Pleat and Frank McLintock.
Over the last few weeks I have reason to doubt the sanity and logic of the ‘lets’ stick with Olly’ brigade. Can I ask them why? On what ground do they think he should stay? He appears to be tacitly inept. At best, his team selections are very suspect. His motivational skills non-existent; one only has to recall how we start most games and how uninspired the team appear to be after his ‘motivational’ half time talks. In the main, his forays into the transfer market, to combine new players with what he already has, has been very disappointing. I hear the cry that the team ‘are not his players’ but other managers in this division, who joined teams part way through the season, have made improvements but we got worse and worse under Holloway.
Would I watch the Leicester in the Third Division? Yes but would I fancy an Ian Holloway ‘team’, and I use the word ‘team’ loosely going to places like Hartlepool or Yeovil and picking up a win? Sorry but I don’t.
Keep the Faith? In LCFC – Yes, always. In Ian Holloway? – No.

Great article and it proves again that for the most insightful football reporting avoid the ‘Red Tops’ and go with the ‘Broadsheets. I totally agree that Holloway’s stupid quips, and his poor attempts at philosophical comedy have, on occasions been offensive to City supporters as he wrecks the club many of us love. I myself switch off the radio to stop his stupid comments entering my head. If that’s how I feel, what did the players think? I think that has been obvious on the pitch in many, many games!
I also found the comments, ‘Nothing there to love anymore’, very much how I feel. ‘They’ have destroyed this club over the last few years.
Holloway must go on Monday

i am not sure about Holloway - i can think of a number of good proven people who are available but whether they can be attracted to Leicester now could be difficult although i think you guys have a chairman who really believes in footie etc .. that was obvious at Pompey and so i still think the future in the long term could still be good.

Leicester fans better hope and pray that Leeds go up in the play offs. They'll walk the league next year if they don't...

I was saying exactly the same thing at Southampton while Burley was in charge. He too constantly played players out of position, as well as making some baffling tactical decisions.

I kept thinking that he'd done so well at other clubs that his quality would eventually shine through but it never came. I was glad when he went off to Scotland to be honest.

Sometimes Managers are successful at some places, but just can't replicate it at another. You've just got to pray you get lucky.
