The rise of Sergio Aguero

comment on the article

A month ago we asked you to send us some questions to ask Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero.

Take a look at BBC Sport's interview with the Argentine prodigy, who has been labelled the new Maradona, and the answers he gave to some of your questions.

Aguero is nothing like Maradona, and neither is Tevez. Messi is the most similar to Maradona in terms of playing style.

Aguero is a forward, who may also play well in a 4-3-3. He's certainly not a winger. Amazing that he has completed two full seasons without injury - he literally has to play every game. He's also going to the Olympics this year, after being named best player of the tournament in the 2007 U20 World Cup. He's already in the senior side too (probably over Tevez).

He is nothing like Maradona.

He has only been labelled "the new Maradona" by press folk who know nothing about football, but who know he is Argentinian.

Apart from his undeniable eye for goal, his main characteristics are of the athletic type, rather than the ballplaying-genius type. This make a player stand out as a youngster. But as a football player he is not in the same league as Maradona, Messi, Ronaldinho etc

You only have to type his name in youtube to be amazed with what he can do.

Considering his age with time the media around the world will claim him to be one of the best fowards in the world, i already believe he is, amazing pace, amazing skill, and knows how to find the back of the net with sublime finishes, he will improve with time and i cant see a more exciting young player then him, including the likes of Messi and Ronaldo

I cannot see Aguero joining an EPL team if where to leave Spain, due to the physical nature of the game over thereok Aguero would be a great addition to Juventus FC, and would wear the number "10" shirt
