United v Burton

Non League Cambridge United
comment on the article

First of all, a massive thankyou to the Burton fans, you contributed to a great atmosphere, and the mutual applause that occurred at the end of the game was magnificent, a reminder of what sport is all about. Best of luck next season boys, and for the future.

Of course, COME ON THE U'S!! Let's hope we can break our Exeter jinx huh? And what about Wolleaston's goal? A fluke like the BBC said, or a magnificent effort like the (totally unbiased) United website states?

Or rather, WHO CARES? We're going to Wembley!!! See y'all there!!

Well done on your win against Burton and good luck in the final against Exeter. We're obviously rivals but I would like to see you back in the football league. ok

Herbieno1.......Yes it was a great night and yes the atmosphere was fantastic.

I do find it amazing however that you appear to have dropped your allegiance to Histon all of a sudden......it was a mere two weeks ago you were posting about how upset we were when Histon beat us etc etc.

I assume you're going to Wembley, will other Histon fans be joining you to celebrate our success with us??

United fan in peace.
Living in Derby all I am hearing is how lucky we were: how bad the officials were. Burton fans you should concentrate on how well your team did this season. I was at both games if the fans decided who won games we would have won 10 nil both legs.
Come On U U's!!!
United In Endeavour!

I must admit i thought Burton may have brought a few more with them to the Abbey. But none the less it was a good atmosphere and they certainly contributed.

On a side note thanks ChePosh, just hope we get back to having a regular Derby with you boys sooner rather than later

After all the years of bad luck we've had we deserve this so called 'luck' don't we? Ive been supporting united home and away for over 15yrs {im only 22!}, I remember when we lost 5-0 at the racecourse and they were celebrating promotion I couldn't of been happier for them, burton Im sure your time will come.

Last night was a great time for every true united fan out there that have stuck by the u's through thin and thinner! the atmosphere was special last night, I loved when the boyz and gals started bouncing on the pitch! Bring it on exeter smiley

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Im a Derby supporter but from Cambridge and my dad supports them too so i go along with him. I went to both legs of the semi-final and we deserved to win the 1st leg, but we were held to a draw, but how we were still level after the first half in the 2nd leg. They were ALL over us but we defended ok, Peters for Morrison? i dont think so. I dont care what Burton fans say about the "Flukey" goal by Wooley because WHO CARES, it went in the back of the net!

I will be going to Wembley to cheer them on and laugh at my PE teacher who supports Burton!

We're goin' up wiv Jimmy and Willy!

I'm having a huge laugh here at double standards herbieno1.
Not 3 weeks he was singing the praises of Beck's long ball reds from the gruesome Glassworld...now he's at the Abbey (sorry TRS) exclaiming the wonders of the Mighty U's....this after slagging them off all season!!

Glory hunter or what!
