League One Bournemouth
comment on the article

Ok guys 4 players out

1. Gareth Stewart (Out of contract?)
this is a joke, only thing i can think is that Forde comming?

2. Steven Foley ( Out of Contract?)
Another joke, all season out injured paying his wages, he must be who Telfer was slaging off before he quit

3. Jo Tessem ( Out of Contract)
Never really got into things, but gd back up

4. Russ Perret (Retiered)
Too old now, reminded me of Telfer at some stages

Just so upset Stewart has gone, hes a great keeper. maybe his injury worse then we know? Bring on Forde though

They where all out of contract. The only one i'm bothered about is Gareth Stewart, excellent shot stopper. Steve Foley played a hand full of games in two season's a drain on the wage bill as was Perrett.

We have a ready made replacement in Pryce, surely Moss can bring him on.
Foley was inevitable his back isnt getting better. Tessom was only ever a stop gap.
Perrett a bad signing from the start, however, its ironic that its was non playing injury that has finished him.
Lets see what happens, Anderton wants to play on, if we can keep Vokes, Holland and Gowling we stand a good chance of being in the promotion hunt.

gutted gazza's leaving. great servant to the club, fought for his place when Neil Moss came in and won it for himself. good luck for the future

Sad to see Stewart leaving & of course younger. Got rid of some dead wood though in Perrett,Foley & Tessem. Pleased to see youth given a chance as well in the pro deals. Great to see players like Anderton straight away stating he wants to stay - example to others...

So Bournemouth are also releasing a fans favourite keeper who has stayed loyal to the club for 9 years. We (Lincoln) have just done the same with Alan Marriott. It's a shame none of them will see a testimonial. Good luck with the administration, hope you come out soon much stronger.

i have seen Stewart play a number of times against us and i think he isnt a bad keeper. a few times i have said he is better than whatever muppet we have between our sticks (except for Ben Hamer). Maybe Andy Scott will have a stroke of genius and snap him up.

not too sure about the others...but im looking forward to seeing us play you after a season apartsmiley

A great shame about Stewart. A few people around the club told me he never engendered confidence in the defence but that doesn't tally with him being players' Player of the Tear a little while back. Superb game at Barnsley Gareth, you saved us from certain defeat that day.

Is Mossy ever going to play again? If not, well Pryce did well but I wonder if the plan is to have Forde back.

Shame about Foley, flattered to deceive I thought and Perret/Tessem actually put in some good performances toward the end of the season.

Ah well, needs must right now and given the lack of funds, our future is going to be youth players for the time being; they're very cheap you know smiley
