History repeats Itself

Frace draw with Romania was an expected result , as France always have difficulties in facing well organised defensive teams ..

Going back a little .. France in 98 against Paraguay and Italy and excelling against Brazil, in 2002 against Uruguay , Denmark and Senegal , 2004 against Greece after beating England in the group stages , 2006 against Switzerland and Korea and then striked Spain ,Brazil and Portugal ..

This game is not different .. waiting the real France against strong attacking teams.

We have been written off so many times that people forget what to expect from Les Bleus.

We're toughest to beat and have punished many a team that walks out thinking the game is over before it has began.

Hello everybody ! Just want to remind all of you and especially the italians that France in the last world cup started very slowly actually and they were hesitating facing the Swiss. Many thought the french squad was getting old. Then les 'Bleus' stunned everyone as they defeated Brasil, Spain, Portugal. Oh my god, the way to the final for the italians was so difficult : Can you imagine, facing australia, Denmark..One thing I'm sure of is that they weren't very tired. Remind how the italians won their matches. How they won the final ! I'm sorry but the best on the field, just have a look on views from every football specialists, was the french side. So they are the world champions. As for the italians, as we say here, they are only ' champions de papier 'or ' fun champions ' if I can trnaslate these words this way. Moreover, they planned to put zidane zidane in disgrace. Otherwise, you could have compared him to Pelé afterwards. Italians would have never been able to get the mere idea to their mind. So, after zinedine was sent off, they just waited for the penalties, their only chance to win. Forza italia ! Forza la triche as ever !

When you are world champions, as Italy, and especially when you win this cup that way. Please tell me how do you, the italians, manage to be proud of your national team ? Just tell me who deserved to win in this world cup final honestly ? Who beated Brasil, Portugal and Spain and how would you have reacted if you watch your football 'icone' zinedine zidane sent off because of an italian fellow who insulted him very badly ? Hardly two months later, France defeated them 3 goals to 1. Them ? World champions ? Any lad in the world can sew a little star patch on his T-shirt, really. France were the real champions. That's all.. and yes, we are arogant and proud to be so. France 98 ! Euro 2000 ! Deutsland 2006 ! The man of the match was Materrazzi indeed. If they could have dropped a bomb on the pitch in the aim the italians win, the italians would have done it, really. Just have a look on how the football specialist comment your so-called victory. Journalists spoke ten thousand times much mmore on zinedine zidane gesture than the the victory of the italians. I tried to discover how the italians manage to get their three formers stars. I advise you to do the same if you love this competition. Really, italians, even they got a fifth crown, they will never be Brasil ! even with 7 crowns. Sorry for the italians but the last decade, the best team in the world was France and the best football player in the worl was ZINEDINE ZIDANE. My favorite italian football player was Baggio ! who missed a penalty shot in the 94 final. My godmother is italian, my cosins are italians, I like the italians. The way they show football, not really. You also have a star in ' Materrazzi 'He's a good player, no doubt about it. The man who shot John Lennon wanted to be as famous as him. He didn't succeed.

It's a shame that Italians've been so unimpressive. But let's reason out, Italians just were not lucky in their first game what is one more factor to be highly motivated for the second one. Romanians were not strong as they were three times booked and were playing in deffencive manner. So here is my prediction:
Italy 2-0 Romania
Netherlands 1-2 France
Italy 0-0 France
So Romania is going home, no doubt.

cannot believe that Domenech is staying.

He completely messed up French chances leaving out players like Clichy ,Sagna, Trezeguet and Flamini. I would also have far preferred to see Cisse than Anelka.

Moreover he looked like a wet rag while they were actually playing and did not make decent susbstitutions or inspire his flagging squad. He then had the nerve to ctiticise his players for not trying hard enough. This alone should have hastened his departure. No manager worth his salt lays publicly into his team ( thereby absolving himself of all blame ) while they arein mid competition
