Alan Smith is the best striker in the EPL. Just needs to get match fit then Micael Owen won't be fit to lace his boots innit.

Be nice to poor Smudge, he just gives his all no matter what shirt he was wearing and he's a pretty good finisher. He's just being played COMPLETELY out of position. It was a big deal when Fergie did it even when we had no fit central midfielders and had to play Smith and O'shea there, but NUFC are doing the same usually and no one cares

I'd give my all playing for newcastle as well, does that mean i should play? no

People are getting totally carried away with who should go. Whoever goes we have to replace. I would prefer to keep the majority of this squad together barring getting good money for Smith and Ameobi. If N'Zog wants to go then let him but on our terms. then I'm with KK, add 3 or 4 top class players along with a 2 or 3 talented young players. Use the likes of Tozer, Kadar, and Zamblera, Baheng (last 2 probably spelt wrong!) and see how we go. The 3 or 4 big signings should be a centre half, a centre midfielder, an attacking midfielder and a striker. The youngsters/reserves should be a back up right back, a back up left sider if N'Zog goes. All players signed should be pacy as this is what we lack.
