NaniPremier League Manchester United by volvic1111 (U11037212) 05 May 2008 As a neutral POV, i have been largely dissapointed with Nani, and thats not considering his Price tag of 17M, I'm not having a go at Man U fans or that as you have great players, I'll im saying is if you werent top of the league or in Europe im sure lots of fans would be revolting against him, i know he has skill and a good ball, but doesnt really have pace and can skip past players like ronaldo can. BESSArtemis (U11240155) posted May 8, 2008 Nani (or Luis La Cunha as I recently learnt is his real name) has a lot still to learn. I am not a ManU fan but do see potential in the lad. I always that he was signed as along term replacement for Giggs and whilst those are some damn big shoes to fill, I think he will make the position his own. I think he plays best when United play 4-3-3 with him and Ronaldo flanking either Rooney or Tevez.

aldibal (U11898118) posted May 8, 2008 Well... im gonna be truly honest with evryone. im a man u fan, but i am completely unbias when it comes to issues like this, i agree about all the diving, but it is a world wide problem, the other thing is... it does not matter if you are full on booted in the league or touched, if you have the ball, and the other player touchs your leg with his, you have THE RIGHT, to drop to the floor for a foul, the other thing id like to point out is that yes ok nani hasnt been outstanding this season, i think hes played well and deservs a place in the team next year, but what eveyones gotta memba its his first season, we all remember the best player in the worlds first season, look at him now! voted by supporters of every team in the world as the best player 2 times on the trot, so give the kid a chance, he will prove himself next season if he wants to and shut up everyones bad mouthin of him, fin

rockyneo140 (U11899019) posted May 8, 2008 As a United fan I have been greatly concerned by the performance of Nani this season. I am still astounded that he was priced at £17m. It was absoulty shocking his performances this season have been of an indvidual nature by this I mean that he has performed diabolically failing to work as part of the team and behaving in a highly childish manner. His sending off againstt West Ham has just proven to me that he is not the sensation that Sir Alex has promised. For a 21 year old he should be starting to shine but I have seen little to support this claim. His shooting and passing have been poor and lets face it his sportsmanship and team work have been even worse. If as I suspect that he has been hired as Ryan Giggs future replacement then I am deeply concerned and feel SAF should look for another solution. I am prepared to give him one more season to prove his maturity, team work and overall game but then I fear if these have not improved then we may be facing another Veron on our hands. However on a positive note I must congratulate SAF on the signing of Anderson what a talent for now and for the future.

Are you for real? You obviously haven't watched many United or Liverfools matches this season. OK, Nani hasn't made as big an impact as Anderson this season who has been nothing short of sensational, but he would still walk into any other side in the Premiership. He's also scored spectacular, important goals in big matches against Spurs, Boro and the Liverfools as well as turning in great performances. For example, he played a blinder in the 4-0 raping of the Gooners in the FA Cup...

United4ever_ed (U8915047) posted May 10, 2008 i have to agree with the last comment nani has not been as bad as your clearly making out, his actions against west ham did highlight a flaw in his game however but after he adjusts to the culture of the premiership i think his strong points such as his pace speed ability will shine through and see him acting as one of the danger men of the league Comment on this article
