Where Does The Blame Lie

League One Leicester City

I want to know where the blame lies, Mandaric,Holloway, the players. One thing for certain is that the fans have been something to be proud of, we surely boasted the best fans in the league. It’s just a shame that every time the players or the manager or even Mandaric himself promised something, promised more goals we could never manage it. I would read the Mercury every day and see articles saying we have 6 more matches left to stay up then 5,4,3,2, and we finally ran out of matches.
One thing i will say about the Stoke match is about Holloways tactics, it seemed bizarre to me that he waited until the 85th minute
before deciding to make a change. Before then i stuck by him as a manager but i feel that he felt the pressure and was unable to cope with the situation.
What next though? - Mandaric likely to leave, Ollie will surely go as well, we will be unable to hold on to the few decent players we actually have. What we need though is a few of the players who got us into this mess to get us out. Players like Stearman and Mattock will be targeted by decent clubs, lets see where there alliances are.

Everyone is talking about Dowie as a manager, i just dont rate him. I think it would be a poor decision to bring him in. Then again who would want to join a league 1 team- managers or players?

Yes, as fans you have surely been short-changed with all the swapping and changing.

BUT, we had a worse position than you... destablising effect of the admin threat, hardly any money, couldn't even do loans because of the embargo, didn't even own ground, and our new manager inherited all that, and yet we survived, despite his having less time than Holloway.

In other words, Holloway had a better position than some, and did worse. Others had less money, less time, just as unstable a situation if not worse, but they didn't get relegated, Holloway did.

How can you blame it all on his circumstances when the evidence lines up against it?

Could'nt agree with JamesAutar more. Neither Mandaric nor Holloway deserve any sympathy. Both deserve all they get, Holloway for walking out on Argyle after making so many promises, and Mandaric with his arrogant trigger-happy attitude.

"we outplayed most teams we played n deserved to b alot higher in the table"...stupid comment of the day. Outplayed? I don't think so. Deserve to be higher? I don't think so. Think again.

Players, managers and Chairman are all responsible to some extent. The only group that emerges blameless from the whole sorry tale that has been Leicester City since Martin O'Neill left is the supporters. What a wonderful, proud, decent group of people they have proved themselves to be over and over again. They deserve so much better. It breaks my heart to see them suffer like this...

People talk about the rot setting in as far back as O'Neill leaving for Celtic. What utter tosh!!

The fact of the matter is that Leicester City Football Club have had ample time to re-assemble.

Since our fall from the Premiership it is a sad fact that we have continued on a downward spiral. A succession of managers and a change of ownership have all failed to halt this Club's decline.

A myriad of players have also failed to impress and I wish I knew the answer.

One thing is sure that we start a new season in a new division and we should be starting with a new manager. Holloway has failed, he is NOT the man for Leicester and I am extremely disappointed that a man of Mandaric business acumen has not seen this.

Decisive actions needs to be taken NOW, not in October, December or the New Year, it will be too late then.

erm, you cant say you have the best fans in the league, surely theres only one team who has the best fans in the league, selling out their stadium in nearly every home game, 2nd in the whole league for average attendances, lets do the comparisons.

Norwich:
High - 25,497
Low - 23,176 (best in the league)
Average - 24,527 (second only to Sheff U)

Leicester:
High - 31,892
Low - 19,264...
Average - 23,508

So from that i do have to say, Norwich have the better fans

It has to be those charged with scoring goals. You have to go up to 13th in the table to find a team with a better goal difference, which (amazingly) points to the defence doing an ok job.
