Good News But Can It Be Trusted

Premier League Blackburn Rovers
comment on the article

According to the BBC gossip column:

Stephen Warnock and Matt Derbyshire have been offered new four-year deals to stay at Blackburn. (The Sun)

I hope its true and if it is then it is great news but how much can you trust what is said in The Sun?

yep, great news indeed.. Warnock's been outstanding this season, definitely a contender in terms of consistency for Blackburn's player of the season but realistically, i think we all know Roque will take that honour.

As for Derbyshire and Olsson, two great young talents who i both expect a lot more from in the coming years. Well done Hughes for securing their immediate future's for Rovers ok

Warnock is a young player and when you are willing to accept second best it's no wonder L'pool let him go. He could have stayed and fought for his place,he did not want to so maybe he suits Blackburn more. All I can say about him though is Benitas let him go to buy Neil if Benitas wanted he could have kept Warnock so now Warnock must prove him wrong and so far he hasn't......

And so far he hasn't? Hasn't what? Proved BENITEZ wrong? You must be out of your mind. He's been a far superior left back to both Riise and Arbeloa this season. Period.

Have to say that's the most bizarre post about Warnock i've ever seen.

Accept second best? Prove Benitez wrong? Fight for his place?

DD is spot on - He's been far better than any of his "competition" this year, and proven Benitez worng on all fronts - Not that it matters, i don't care whether he was wrong or not - Warnock made the decision to move on to be able to play regular top flight football and actually make a difference in a team. He's done that superbly ever since his arrival.

Now that is the type of ambition that i applaud

Clearly Warnock should have stayed at Liverpool, and had a nice view from the bench as they won the Leag... I mean, the Champi... um, FA Cup? No, that wasn't it... it must have been the League Cup? Oh wait, no, that was Spurs...

Sorry, I can't see what he's lost by joining a team that are prepared to play him?
