WELL DONE SAINTS

Championship Southampton
comment on the article

Forest fan in peace here.
Well done Southampton we did not want you to go down to that hell hole known as League 1. Its tough down there and no decent player wants to drop to that level to sign for you as Leicester City will find out.

We look forward to your visit to the City Gound. Its been to long since we met.

Well done Saints. Far too big for div 1. Will be great to re live the old days and think about our Wembley finals. Matt Le God is my favourite non Forest player ever - made pro football look easy like it happens in school boys dreams. Really pleased for you loyal fans.

Great to see Forest (and hopefully not leeds as well) starting their climb to where they belong. They are defo a Prem club of the future (and of course the past)

I was at St Mary's and, boy, what an atmosphere!

Despite the team's shortcomings, I support Pearson all the way. He needs to get some summer transfer dealings sorted out and actually start to shape the squad the way he wants it. Next season should be his first full season as club manager and that will be a better chance to measure his ability and aptitude to take the club forward.

The Championship is such an exciting league, though. We were in the playoffs last year and missed out on Wembley by penalties. And this year we're "technically relegated" more than once on the final day! As for next year? Who on earth knows what we'll do!

When your own fans consider a successful season to be 'avoiding relegation to League One', the realisation must really hit home that you're a sh**e team.
