IT"S TRUE WE ARE STAYING UP.

Championship Sheffield Wednesday
comment on the article

Well done sheffield wednesday we rode our luck but came up trumps.
Our support today was massive and a credit to the team, cant help but think that if any of the new potential owners were at the ground today they can only be impressed by the fan base that we have and the passion for success we have been missing for so many years. Maybe now investment is what we need to progress forward on to better things (the premiership) in 3 years maybe not but 5 years maybe so, lets hope the takeover come very soon so that we can look to a better future and build to be a bigger club than what we are now.
ALL THE BEST SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY AND WELL DONE FROM ALL THE OWLS FANS.

You are right mate. The takeover needs to happen in days rather than weeks so that we can prepare for next season knowing how much we can spend

Brilliant result what an end to a crappy season. With so many injuries credit to what Brian Laws has done with the players he's had at his disposal. I hope who ever takes over the club, if anyone, that Laws is given the time to take the club where it should be, he nearly went down with Scunny when he first took over and look what he did there! In my opinion he's the right man for the job.

Well done lads. Wednesday looked pretty much dead after six games, but fought back to safety!
And the Piggies are out of the play-off places...

What a great weekend - even though i live in Kathmandu distance meant nothing, felt every pass, cross, foul - well done lads!!! Also great to know that we did not need any favours from across the City - well played Soton!!!

Well done Wednesday and well done Brian Laws!

I think Laws is fully justified for saying that nobody (inc. Mourinho) could do a better job at Wednesday this season. Look at what he's saying, he's not full of himself: any manager that has had the bad luck and number of injuries that Wednesday have had deserves to be proud of themself for keeping the team in the league.

At one stage, Wednesday had 13 first team players out and there seemed to be a new injury every week - what squad in the championship could handle that?

Message for the new board - stick with Laws, we've got a quality, honest manager there!

Outstanding!

Simply outstanding. Can't say enough about Laws and the players gutting it through a tough season, but in the end, the business got done!

I second what i_r_sensitive has said. Hope laws gets to keep his job if any take over goes ahead.
Also the comment on Wednesday page here on the BBC "Brian Laws compared his achievement in keeping Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship with anything achieved by Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho." is rubbish Laws never said he's like Mourinho he said if Mourinho was here at Hillsborough he wouldn't have done any better.
