Oh my giddy aunt, this is what it's all about isn't it?

After arguably the most exciting Championship season in recent memory, it quite literally all comes down to today for as many as 14 teams.

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foo...

Automatic promotion, play-off places and relegation issues are all still to be decided - get ready for an afternoon of nail-biting, bum clenching and, erm, prayer-saying...

I'll be keeping you up to date with all the goals, incidents and permutations from all 12 Championship fixtures as well as, lest we forget, the two Premier League games taking place this afternoon.

On the penultimate weekend of Premier League action, only Everton have anything serious riding on today's results - they can guarantee fifth spot with a point or more at Arsenal - but, to be honest, that's often when games get the most exciting isn't it?

So, to those of you making your way to see your beloveds in action, to those of you fluffing the sofa cushions in preparation for an afternoon of sitting and shifting, and to those of you already halfway through a bottle of some 40% proof alcoholic drink... May the Fourth be with you...

all my french mates are doing well in your league and have won the world cup, euroean cup and confederations cup. And i love the english premiership more than ever. In some cases more than the national team. But my love for the EPL does not spread out to the pompous and overated english players and their WAGS.

Why is everyone getting so defensive because Vicade alluded to the point that English players are overrated? because as an Englishmen i have no problem saying they are because it is true, especially Rooney which has been the focus of this thread.

Vicade has not said anything antagonistic, he even said that he wants us to qualify for the world cup. He is suggesting that England would have qualified for the Euro's if they had an abundance of world class talent and whilst i would say it is not as black and white as that it is a fair point.

how can berbatov be better then adebayor he (adebayor) has scored 30 this season inclunding coming second in the top scorers so far berbatov is a good player but adebayor has been excellent this season who would have thought he would get 30 at the start certainly not me i even think bedner has been good and i know he did have incidents but look at the time when he save us or scored goals goals like for example agianst aston villa liverpool big vital goals not important goals agianst evrton and derby which i think he played well in those two matches so any one who starts to critic adebayor would only be a fool themselves. i have to Admitt though i do like liverpools new kit.

Rooney has not developed into the player everyone believed he would since joining Man U. He's had to sacrifice elements of his game for the team which is not a criticism. But Rooney, isn't a world class player. In my opinion, the guy is just a more expensive, English, Dirk Kuyt.
