Blues Judgment Day - 1 game to go

Premier League Birmingham
comment on the article

Do not write us off yet!
Stranger things have happened!

Your thoughts? Its totally unpredictable. Ideally 3 points would be nice, but Its unlikely, unless we beat Blackburn who shouldn't have anything to play for in the last game.
At the moment its:

16th Bolton 36
17th Fulham 33
18th Reading 33
19th Blues 32

My personal predictions are

Bolton 0-3 Chelsea

Birmingham 2-1 Blackburn

Reading 1-1 Derby

Fulham 1-1 Portsmouth

Thus

16th Bolton 36
17th Blues 35
18th Fulham 34
19th Reading 34

Although thats mostly hope and optimism! Its probably more likely we'll be in the fizzy pop next year.

We need 3 points on Sunday. We'd have 35 points then, and that would only be suffice if Bolton lose to Chelsea (Which is probable), Reading fail to beat Derby (Fairly unlikely) and Fulham don't beat Pompey. If at least 2 of those win we're down. The current table is:

16th Bolton 36
17th Fulham 33
18th Reading 33
19th Blues 32

And with Reading playing Derby then 3 points is possible.

If Bolton lose tonight, then it'll be tight next week to, and if they lose tonight they will go down, as they won't beat Chelsea. If Reading somehow lose next week, and Fulham lose, then we're in with a chance, but they will both get at least 1 pt from those games.

Nervy times Bluenoses.....but don't get drinking that Cola yet!
As the old song goes "There'll be joys and sorrows too"
Anything can happen, who knows, Derby could pull off a flukey result as Reading can't buy goals at the moment, and Portsmouth players could be fighting for their Fa cup places. It is still possible!

I know a load of you have already conceded that we're going down, because it is incredibly likely, but there is no way I'm conceding that until 5pm next Sunday. Anything can happen, but its just not in my mentality to give up. Sorry if that irritates any of you.

Taylor will meet his destiny?

Wow, some zealot you are mate!

Evil McLeish? Ha Ha.

So, what is your view on the dangerous sissor tackle that Eduardo did when he broke another players leg?

I seriously doubt McLeish sent the team out and ordered them to break someones legdoh.
Besides it was an accident, in fact the challenge was not worth a red card, and would have been harsh to award a yellow to really. The ref said he did it based on the injury, which you shouldn't dodoh.

Also what makes you think you know what McLeish said to the team? Are you psychic or something?

I've already planned to book next season's trips to Blackpool, Plymouth and Swansea.
But we'll have a disco next sunday anyway. It grates that cockneys (and pyschotic arab shop keepers) stay up at our expense.

I also can't believe that some gooners are still blaming the blues for losing the title challenge. If taylor had tried to deliberately break Eddies leg he would have ended up with a broken boot lace. so shut it wannabe east enders - maybe Brian Wenger will get it right next season C'EST QUE SAIS?

In the meantime I'll be there at the end of the road

Eck'll sort it out 2008/09

KRO ok

Judgement day has been and gone...blues will go down and this is not pessimism...as for all the different combinations of results the fact is reading will beat derby and we will lose to blackburn fulham will draw so what if bolton lose it wont change a thing...mcleish was the worst thing that could have happened to the blues....

If all that rubbish
with the buyout hadnt happened it would have been a different story...oh and who is the girl
who keeps crying about eduardo? Get out a bit more matey...move on....just as we are going down i suggest you get over it...

sadly we've not been good enough - if we couldn't even beat Derby that just about says it all in summing up a poor season on & off the field. Bruce took 31 points for Wigan, whilst we got 21, the whole take over shamble just ruined everything really, & Brucie even managed to mess up the Villa's quest for Europe - well done Steve!!
we'll be back, but it won't be with McLeish
