Live - Saturday's Premier League

Premier League
comment on the article

There have been a fair few defining moments of this extraordinary Premier League season so far.

I'm thinking Jose Mourinho's sacking, Eduardo's horrific leg break, Diomansy Kamara's rifled winner for Fulham at Man City last week to name just a few.

With Man Utd hosting West Ham, Fulham entertaining Birmingham and Reading and Bolton in action too, this promises to be another of those days.

Drop a couple of divisions and it's big time D-day in League One to boot, with three teams vying for automatic promotion and four teams still capable of falling into the Football League's basement division.

Do you need any more chat to have to get involved? Thought not.

I may want the Reds to win the double, but given the way things have been the last while, don't take either lightly. Man Utd were understrength at Stamford Bridge, but there were times that the team looked dispirited and disorganized. When you get close, the pressure starts to bear. Even so, its good to see Ronaldo back in scoring form, and with the best lineup on the field, I pick the Reds to do it.

United are champs...the only way Chelsea can win it is if United wrap it up and give em it as an early Xmas pressie. Still...knowing Man U like in recent Fa finals etc...we could still gift it to em, BUT I DOUBT IT.

Man U understrength?

I thought it was all about big squads.

And as far as Steve Bruce deliberately losing, I assume you are joking!

i like man u but i wish west ham should have played better, i dont see why they have beaten man u soo many times, and yet lose this particular, i guess i was right in the fact that they were trying to return a favor for last season.

Its full time for us (Reading). we are now officially down, we need a mirical to happen if we're to avoid the drop. We couldnt score in a brothel atm. 6 games without a goal and dont really look like scoring and about to give derby there 2nd win of the season. Oh well i guess will have to look forward to championship football next season. Good Luck Reading, we need it. Just go out and proud and with a fight and dont roll over to a team that got relelgated months ago.
