Ronnie retains the double

Premier League Manchester United
comment on the article

Cristiano Ronaldo has done the double in adding the Football Writers Association Footballer of the Year award to his PFA Player's Player of the Year gong, joining T. Henry as the only player having won both to repeat the achievement in successive years.

Well done. Now for the double titles.

On other news (well it isn't new). He still hates Manchester rain but loves Manchester United and wants to stay on for many, many seasons. Hmm.. stay tuned. I am sure there will be a response from the Spanish press pretty soon.

As someone who spent 10 years in Canterbury, studied Sociology at Uni and is a huge Farscape fan I find it strange that you can use all of that against me in some coincidental occurance. Is it such a small world.

----------------
First of all I am not using anything against anyone here (erikah waves white flag!). I made a joke about Farscape because of your name, no coincidence there. As for Canterbury, that's really a coincidence.
To prove my point all someone needs to do is find a post about Ronaldo, you are sure to write something demeaning of the boy in any post...
Concluding, you seem like an intelligent person, no point in mouthing out at each other!
Maybe when I go to England we can have a pint!

Doing your double triple leg over shuffles with two minutes to go is taking the mick beyond the accepted levels. Whether you play grass root football, saturday football, sunday football, 5-a-side, amatuer, semi pro, professional, in Africa, in Asia, in the US, in the Europe, you do not goad players!!!!
----------------------------

So your one of these "Football isn't about entertainment" morons then? So you never want to see Ronaldinho do his little flick thing or Ronaldo with his stepovers or Zidane with his reverse passes?

Yes, maybe you have a point, exciting players are just nasty and mean we should ban all skill from our game imediately and just kick each other a lot
......How about rush goalies??

Idiot, A plastic like you would soon lose interest..

I dont understand all the nasty remarks about Renaldo. He is easily the best Player and deserves the awards. Man United would not be the same without him. I hope that he stays around for many years.

i cant believe ppl are dumb enough to come on here and bad mouth ronaldo. Easily world player of the year, maybe messi next year but he's had a great season, he broke george best's scoring record for a winger! He still has a shot at breaking dennis law's record! Something even the greats like Ruud, sparky, cole etc couldn't do
