COME ON CITY -WHERE DOES YOUR LOYALTY LIE?

Premier League Manchester City
comment on the article

The situation is a joke, and I want to know whether you think Sven is more valuable than Thaksin, bearing in mind we had plenty of suitors to take us over at the time.

Sven's bedded a team of new, unknown players and got the best out of our youth and existing squad...could another manager have done the same in as little time?

OK we may not have as much transfer funds with another owner but without a decent manager,. funds are a waste. We'd have someone like Big Sam spending £10m on Alan Smith for crying out loud. Sven is for us, Sven is part of City. Lets not let Thaksin destroy our club. This will set us back I assure you. We will not finish top half next season if Sven goes. I can see us fans making our voice heard and then Thaksin running us into the ground out of spite.

Who is more important to City, Sven or the Doctor.

With the BBC's analysis showing all the 'hits' that Sven signed, it's hard to believe that they are not in the top 4. Elano has been a huge success but it was obvious that he would not be allowed to continue to show his silky skills for too long as the Premiership 'thugs' were soon after him and kicked his ankles off.
It always happens and unless the game is cleaned up in England, it always will.

this is bonkers, he's really done quite well given his situation, this is sheer impatience from the Owner at City, they have had a good season, and he's building ateam weel, its this i want it now mentality thats the problem here!

Mr Ericson is overated. Never succesfull. Bad results with the English national team. He is just interesting in money. He had a lot of money to spend with City. He did buy the wrong players.
Bye bye Mr. Ericson.

sven bought players left on the shelf, players who are work shy, or consistant(lazy) he did his best and city like chelsea are no longer aclub but a business second or ninth, or loser shows on the profit and loss account,as with manu alex would soon be retired when utd lose a few games.yikesdoh

These billionare owners don't care about gradual progression and patience. They're not in this to watch a club progress over 7-8 seasons. They're getting on a bit, this is their hobby and they just want to see success overnight...and even if the next manager is worse than Sven, he probably prefers the drama and excitement of a new man in charge.

I agree, they just want to come in and take teams to the top straight away and if that doesnt happen they sack a manager and get a new one...but, it doesnt work like that. look at fulham. they have had 9 managers in five years because they want instant success.

i dont understand them!!

seeing all the comments about how the team "faded" after a good start, makes me wonder whether the people had been watching the team the previous couple of seasons, cos "faded" was the norm from the games i saw.

sven got some very decent performances out of a group of players only just brought together, shame he wont get chance to work with them this season and to get some depth to the squad, reckon the chairman has dropped a clanger.

good luck to all the city fans, could be a nasty season ahead :o(
