Chelsea for the double?

Premier League Chelsea

Why not? They are the in form team.

Liverpool during their '80's dominance always battled on all fronts, and in that respect Chelsea are more like the Liverpool of old than the current Liverpool side. It is a disgrace that Benitez sacrifices the domestic competitions to concentrate solely on the Champions league each year, especially as Liverpool have never won the Premiership in their history, whereas Chelsea have won it twice.

Liverpool will be fresh, having rested all of their key players against Birmingham. Chelsea once again need to be wary of their headless chicken approach, and close them down, especially when they are in shooting range. If Chelsea let them attack, and give them space, then Liverpool could win. Maybe Alex should come in for Carvalho.

Should Grant be manager next year? One thing is for certain - the constant pressure is keeping him on his toes, and he has upped his tactical nouse since the Wigan game. Maybe if he knew his job was assured, he would relax, and let two trophies slip through his fingers.

It's great to see Man Utd cracking up. Ferdinand is never an England captain, and they are too reliant on their two centre backs, along with Rooney and Ronaldo. Fergie has won mind games in the past, and now he and Man U are getting a taste of their own medicine.

Desailly is so biased that he cannot distinguish between what he wants Chelsea to win and what Chelsea CAN win this season. His analysis is nonsense. We shall see who has the last word.

Let's give Avram a chance- he has been complained about all season, yet he has put all of that aside to get the results we needed. Maybe we can do it again tonight, but we have to support our manager. It is not easy to compete with such criticism from your supporters and still produce good results. If we get behind the team we have a better chance of winning our remaining Premiership games and the CL.

"If Chelsea make the final I would install them as slight favourites.

Do you really think that Man U will sleep well in Moscow?"

seriously what kind of comment is this? will Man U sleep well in Moscow...who knows but i bet Chelsea might not either if they manage make it there.

As for Chelsea winning the double, i cant see it happening. if Man U lost last night i might thought the EPL and CL were up for grabs but after a solid rebound from last weekend i think they are certain to take home at least one piece of silverware, probably the EPL. the CL final, its a bit of a lottery at the end of the day, and if had to put money on it i would definitely back Sir Alex over Avram.

Did well last night but I am not convinced Uniteds troubles have gone.

If one barcelona player had the balls to take a shot it could have been different. Barcelona were toobusy trying to dance the ball into the net.......

Its UTd's to lose but I haven't seen United perform to their high standards in a few weeks now....

All you chelsea haters just shut your mouth. People seems to talk much about chelsea and less about their own teams. Its Ironic that nobody gave us the chance this year even though we were not favourites but now they're eating up their words. Ha ha ha! Chelsea is a die hard team thats why I support them. Not many team will give you the much needed result when needed. I always bank on CHELSEA THE BLUES. RIDE ON.

its ridiculous how desailly cant distinguish reality from fantasy. His biased view means nothing. Lets get dennis irwin on here saying man utd will definately win both cups. Having said that it is much more likely than thos cold chelsea players. Absolutely no passion, and officially the worst fans in the world.

For me if Chelsea won the double it would be as good as winning the LOTTERY, by the way Iam a MAN CITY fan desperate for some consolation it all depends on the attitude and professionalism of West Ham and Wigan players United are far from invincible --- UP THE HAMMERS!
