Stoke fan in peace.

Spent 3 great years at Essex Univ and lived in colchester for
several years. Went to quite a few games at Layer Rd.

I'm just glad that a Stoke win won't be the defeat that sends you lot down.

I'll be there on Saturday praying for a Stoke win but will be sad that Colchester are going down.

Good luck and hope you bounce back.

To Stoke fans ~ we want your fans to be part of our 'moving' celebrations, particularly as you may have your own promotion celebrations.
Although I haven't seen it, I understand our Chief Exec has passed a message through to your official meassgeboard saying that we want to help your celebrations, along with our own. Two red and white baloons will be given to all your supporters, and it should be a massive party. Have fun.

Hi giberdian

Nice one !

To be honerst though - if your chairman wants to help our celebrations - ordering your team to concede 5 goals in the first 15 mins will do nicely.

Well, it's just a thought.

Am looking fwd to tomorrow though !

by,

nervous Stokie !

3-1 to the U's, mark my words, we'll go out with a bang!

Trust me, we can concede goals with or without the Chairman getting involved! Two clean sheets all season tells its own story. Will be a good test if we find ourselves under a typical Stoke aerial barrage. Who knows. Football is full of surprises.

By the way, be prepared for a special commemorative matchday programme tomorrow. £5, but 128 pages and worth the money.

Ahhh zee old Stoke blitzkreig ploy hey !
(read with Allo Allo German accent)

I would get your defenders to don flak jackets if I were you.

I can just hear those air raid sirens now..... smiley

Lifelong Gooner here. Went to school in Colchester and now live there. Been up the U's 3 times this season (4 time on Sat). Once had a season ticket at Col U and Highbury in the same season!
Tomorrow will be a bit emotional that tight cold ol intimidating ground which all other clubs hated to visit.
Some good memories, but its time to move on.
I have my doubts about the new 'sheet metal' type stadium, its name, the name of the road, everything so far sems to have been done without much thought, even the travel plans to/from the new stadium, will it be built in time for next season? its a blxxdy sham really. But i like to be proved wrong.

Anyways, tomorrow...i don't think Stoke will be up for a win, prob looking for a draw and that could be their downfall if Hull win?
could be play offs for you Stokeys?
