Dicky Dosh

League One Walsall

Dicky Dosh has gone - Why? Jeff Bonsor not giving him the assurances he wanted for next year? Another job come along.

Amazingly, this has happened just after Tommy Mooney stated there was no spirit in the dressing room. Is this a coincidence?

Good Luck to Jimmy Mullens, who since joining the club seemed to help turn things round, and lets hope we win the last 2 games under his leadership.

I think this is another kick in the teeth for Walsall football club, and now maybe the time the Jeff Bonsor handed in his resignation and actually gave the club a chance to thrive.

I imagine Money asked for extra cash for players to try to get the team up to the championship next season and was turned down.

This season Walsall have been competing against teams with bigger grounds and bigger backers Swansea and Leeds in particular.

I imagine Money had been sounded out by another team for their job on more money and no doubt it was a "put up or shut up" meeting between him and the chairman.

I imagine that he already has another offer in mind or promised to him. It is much easier to ask the chairman to back the manager cash wise or the manager will walk if you have another offer.

If the chairman turned him down then Money probably had no other option.

is Mourinio still looking for a job?

We've got about the same chance of getting him than Ince!

Well Bryan Robson is always available laugh

But in all seriousness, he has done wonders at your club, even with little financial support. Hope you can get a manager who can get you even higher in the league and get you lot up to the Championship smiley

Im a Gillingham Fan so know about managers coming and going... we unfortunately did ours at the wrong time and look where it has left us...

one thing that puzzles me... Money has taken you up a league from last season and has narrow missed doing a double promotion.... so why has he left... next season he could do so well!?

why then turn everything on its head and you could do even worse next season... anything can happen in the lower leagues...?

I am extremely dissapointed. There is only one explanation for this and that is Bonsor. Money asked for money and didn't get it off Bonsor, who needs to go asap but that won't happen. Don't blame money to be honest. Our club has no ambition and will never get into the championship until Bonsor goes.

I am guessing...but....
if you had a 15 point advantage and still finished behind that team, you should quit...

bonsor is typical of club chairmen as a whole, knows nowt about football, wouldn't know a good manager if one ran over him and puffed up with his own importance.

Im shocked. What he achieved at Walsall was nothing short of brilliant.

No offense to Walsall, but I hope a bigger club comes along for him, every British manager deserves a chance to manage a big club.
