Live - Saturday's action

Premier League
comment on the article

It's a Saturday, in April. Are you sitting comfortably for squeaky bum time?

There are six Premier League games today, each with things riding on them, each with their little stories to tell.

Manchester United can move a step closer to the Premier League title, Fulham and Bolton can boost their survival hopes.

Whoever you support, it promises to be a lively afternoon.

I don't need to tell you what to do.

Ribery should be plying his trade in one of the big leaguesin Europe, his talent his wasted in Germany and the UEFA cup. Ditto Luca Toni.

So if one of the English teams in the Champions League wins it, it's great for English Football, and if Rangers win it, it's good for "British" Football.

Typical. Always trying to get a bit of the glory. Of course if Rangers lose the tie it will be another "Scottish" team falling short.

I seem to use this word a lot on these forums... pathetic.

Sorry to state the obvious - If it stays 0-0, it will be a magnificent result for Rangers. No away goal conceeded and any goal they score in Italy will be worth double.

Take the big chip off your shoulder, its the media who call the clubs English or British or Scottish. Most of us wish the Rangers the best of luck and they deserve to be where they are.

No. It's not just the media. That a ridiculous suggestion to make. People are always happy to pretend that it's only the media that harbour those sorts of attitudes, but it's not.

Regardless of that, I don't have a chip on my shoulder for stating fact. It is a fact that this sort of thing happens, in the media and amongst the fans themselves. You are blind or ignorant if you think otherwise.
