PowerSurj (U11691258) posted Apr 20, 2008 Ernie is too nice a guy, and without knowing it he is being intimidated by Tiger. He needs to be more serious about beating Tiger, and not be too friendly with him, especially on the course. He better start soon as age is creeping up on him.

peteholly (U10412044) posted Apr 20, 2008 I wonder what would have happened if Ernie had beaten Todd Hamilton in the Open play-off. I know he he hurt his knee but I reckon Ernie's problems are mental not technical. On that basis Butch is just being employed for "pep talk".
