Blackburn's: only chance of Europe is through the Intertoto Cup route, but they are the least well placed of three clubs in contention for qualification.

We are clear favourites at the moment. Chelsea can beat us and win their last 2 games and lose the title.

Chelsea fans train of thought is = Beat Man U, Man U slip up, We win our next two matches.

I mean they are basically praying for 3 events to go their way, the title is still ours to blow away.

silly point!
ManU fans thought= Draw Chelsea, Beat Westham and best Wigan after their hopefully save!

3 events too <duh> three games and their has to be three events obviously <duh>
but u're right it's your to blow away but it's also in our hands to win and kill the gap!

Also i'm sure Wigan will lose both their next two games aginst Reading and Villa but they might still be sfae but i doubt it!

Lol that's not really the same though is it. A draw to you is in our favour, a loss to you isn't the end of the league. If we draw we only have to win one game. If we beat you it's all over.

Just saying there are alot of scenarios that win us the league where Chelsea kinda need everything to go there way in the last 3 games.

Let's establish the facts- Reid's foul on Rooney in the box was correctly not given as a penalty.
If he'd stayed on his feet and chosen not to dive with a delayed reaction, and a penalty was given there can be no complaints.
Also, the title is United's to lose barring minor miracles which are unlikely to happen. Chelsea have dropped points where they shouldn't have this season and have not shown the consistency required to deserve to win the league. As I keep saying, United have scored the most and conceded the fewest- if that's not the mark of champions what is? By the way I'm a Blackburn fan before there's accusation of bias!

tevez has not won man u the title. He has put saved them from loosing it, he has kept thier chance alive. It anything man u chances now are on thread

On a thread? We are three pts clear, have a superior goal difference, and we can even lose to Chelsea at the weekend and STILL win the league. Our chances are greater than Chelsea's.

'It is a weel known fact that brad friedal seems to play amazing against man utd. This happens every season and im sure will we be fine for the title
come on united!!!!!'

What a standard Man U fan's comment! He plays like that all season, just United fans only see Blackburn when they play United!

Can anyone explain to me why Rooney was only given a yellow card for his waist high challenge on Samba?

It was not even an attempt to get the ball, just a frustrated lunge at a player who had taken the ball off him.

That would be because although the tackle was from behind, the guy went down like he had been shot from point blank range!!

However, even as a united fan I think that had he of been given a yellow for that blatent dive (yes i can admit it!!) then maybe he should have been sent off.

I do think that there were several other incidents where penalties should have been given, handball by emerton anyone??? But thats how games go, and at the end of the day, we were hardly going to put many past Friedel as the man was on fire.

Playing Blackburn at Ewood park is always going to be one of the toughest games of the season, and to come away with a point is always a good result. It certainly makes next weekends game against Chelsea more interesting.

Rooney's dive did definately get missed. The worst thing about it was that on MOTD it failed to be acknowledged as a dive. if that had been Ronaldo they would be calling it a dive and probably bringing up the issue of foreign players again.
Also with Rooneys challenge on samba, all the commentator could say was "at least he picked on someone bigger than him". almost approving of the tackle. I just don't think that pundits or commentators can admit where english players go wrong!

Rooney's late dive should have got him a booking aswell definately. the worst thing about it is that on MOTD it was not acknowledged as a dive. if ronaldo or drogba had done that then it would have been mentioned in the post match discussions.
also in regards to rooneys challenge on samba, all the commentator could say was 'at least he picked on someone bigger than him!' almost approving of the challenge. i really think that pundits and commentators can't admit when an english player does wrong but are always quick to jump on the foreign players.
