Live - Everton v Chelsea

Premier League
comment on the article

Well, what else are you going to do on a Thursday?

Watch House? Make plans for the weekend? Do the laundry? Instead of all that, why not settle down and let the Premier League take over another night of the week?

It's a pretty big game, in fairness. Chelsea, five points behind Manchester United with four games to go, simply cannot afford anything other than victory.

Everton, five points behind fourth-placed Liverpool and four points ahead of sixth-placed Portsmouth, are in need of some points themselves.

So get involved. Is this the night the title heads to Old Trafford?

you have to admit that on form Chelsea's progression in the CL seams unlikely. Wouldn't it be better to lose to make sure Mr Grant goes and you get a new manger with fresh ideas to spend all that money. You may be 2nd but you must admit it hasn't been you best season.
_______________

I do agree with you,I wrote an article couple of months ago about I will prefer we win nothing and Grant goes than win something and his friend let him stay.
He's the most clueless manager in the premiership.
I know most chelsea supporters will start calling me all sort of names like they did back then.I dont buy the idea of keeping quiet when we win a match and complainin only when we LOSE.As much as I blame the players for not putting their all in games lately,I very much blame Grant for most of our misfortunes, lately against Wigan, making the same mistake again today, defending a one goal lead.
Really,Grants is gotta go,even if we win both CL and PL(we have the players to,but the coach and the motivation is absent)

Chelsea have gone from beating teams to just beating teams to getting away with it. Its not a long drop now to can't beat teams. The whole squad needs an overhaul and only a new manager can do that.

didn't say anything about your team. i'm just talking about your little attempt at humour.
You didn't take out the bit in the top line about 'choking on their words'. Then you've put 'only on champagne'. Doesn't work. A not particularly humourous comment anyway could only have been saved and made mildly amusing if you'd stopped at the word 'choking'

The bbc written commentary kept on refering to chelsea as 'the blues': exactly what colour did whatever dime bar was responsible think Everton were playing in? More cockney orientation by the beeb. By the way, where are the rest of the Evertonians on this forum? They all seem to be darn sarf as far as last nights game is concerned; and yes, despite all the money they've spent, chelsea play rubbish football-almost as bad as our equally over-spending repulsive neighbours, who'd be relegated without stevie g-spot 'and 7 out of 10, you bent your legs on entry' torres (cheat-see the inter game at girlyfield.
