Or is he shooting from the hip?
Last nights Sky interview was either an elaborate hoax or plain speaking. I'm not sure which! If we believe everything he said then:

1. He wants to buy out Gillett
2. He wants to extend Rafa's contract (albeit for only 1 year
3. It was Gillette who set up talks with Klinsman at the bequest of Parry
4. He is going to seek further investment
5. Have no debt against the club
6. Start immediate financing for the new ground.
7. He wants Parry to resign because he thinks he's crap - slow in the transfer market, useless at getting further sponsorship, investment and merchandising and can't communicate with Rafa. Says it was his fasult new ground was not up and running three years ago.
8. DIC have been trying to destabilise the club through the media.
Or if you don't believe what he has said - is he looking for further profit by holding out for more dosh from DCI?
Trouble is, we have only been drip fed snippets of information. I wonder what Gillet's response will be?

Liverpool FC has become a joke! Year after year they come out with the same old excuses and reassure fans that they've added the final pieces of the jigsaw when making an expensive signing. A side with the likes of Gerrard, Torres, Alonso and Mascherano should not be fighting it out for a 4th placed finish with Everton. They've never been in with a chance of the title this season. Surely their fans must be sick enough (having not seen a league title in almost twenty years) without having to listen to Waldorf and Tatler bickering like schoolkids. New ground, financial stability and a league title are just pipe dreams for the reds as long as they have those Yank muppets at the helm! They've held you back more than you care to imagine after just one year in charge - I can see Rafa walking come the end of the season, then were will that leave you? Liverpool FC used to belong to the people, now its just another asset in a rich mans pocket! Wasn't it The Beatles that sang the lines: Money can't buy you love?

"Here we are, a few days away from a vital Champions League semi-final match and Tom has once again created turmoil with his comments."

- a complete disregard for the premiership and disrespect for the Fulham game..

*typical*

I think to be honest for you guys Gillet is worth keeping he runs his NHL team in a really good way from what I understand and stays in the background.

But Hicks seems a complete joke of a man. If you can somehow get rid of him and get Gillet to run things things will be better I think. ok

Dear BBC. Can you please send this whole debate to the stupid yanks so they can see just how ridiculous they look ! My kids are more moature than those two. Rick Parry should know better to - don't get into a war of words !!

Irrespective of club loyalties, they're just proving that the great game - our national sport - is being cheapened by money.

I know I can't tell this joke to it's end but ... why do scousers prefer the Arabs to the Yanks ..... laugh

I saw the interview yesterday and to me it seemed like Hicks was very prepared and it all seemed so fake...if it is true that Rick Parry and Gilette were at the meeting then why did he come out and say it that he had just been to a meeting with Rick and George.

When the americasn first took over it was great i thought we may be in with a chance of winning the title...now i don't mind Gilette he might not be a red at heart but hes professional and he seems he wants whats best for the club...but Hicks seems like hes only in it for the money and hes trying to hold out long enough so he can cause more damage and get more money!!! it makes me upset everytime something comes out about this when we are playing really well and the results should be the headlines.

Hicks out DIC in Gilette to stay

Gillett & Hicks are 2 typical American morons, when will we ever learn that they are not the same race of people as us, they have a man like George Bush running their country for goodness sake! The only thing the American's have done for us in the last decade of note is to take the circus that is the Beckham's, if only for the time being.
PLEASE can we get rid of those 2 jokers and get our club back together as it's these kind of people that will eventually ensure our kids have no football at all to watch leaving us with such utterly pointless so-called sports as F1 and cricket!

Seems Gillette and Hicks are doing to Liverpool FC what Bush is doing to Iraq.

Watch out for Benitez going to Barcelona if things aren't sorted by the summer.

Liverpool and Benitez do not deserve the 'ship of fools' that are stirring things up in the background. Liverpool's management should pack their bags and eff-off - no team or manager needs a Punch & Judy show going on in background when they are trying to win things. If they can't see further than the loot, why don't start up a hedge fund and leave the football to people who genuinely love the game?
