kinsang (U3876840) posted Apr 15, 2008 So much for the give the manager a chance! Don't forget that under JM, Chelsea never won the CL, and also lost out in the league last season. Grant's come into a difficult situation and got Chelsea very close in the league, and although now unlikely could still win it, but they are no worse than last year, and still have a good chance in the CL. Man Utd have been so impressive this season, can anyone say that if JM, or anyone else for that matter, was in charge of Chelsea they would be in a better position?

cfc105 (U11134727) posted Apr 15, 2008 It's the same thing as it was with Ranieri. With Arsenal barely in reach in 2004, Chelsea drew 0-0 at home against Middlesbrough, condemning their season, and Ranieri. I think we are not only not killing teams off as has already been expressed, but we are also faltering at the moments when we need to win the games. Grant has been all right, for a manager who has been relatively unknown coming into a hot seat; we, however, need a manager who can cope with the pressure and who can be more consistant. Grant is not a bad manager, and I think he deserves another chance.

Man U has been the most consistent team in the EPL this season and they deserve the title. I have said it from the beginning that the most consistent team will win the title. Eventhough, I would love for Chelsea to win it, but we show no spirit for it. We have not been consistent at all. Chelsea won many games and is right now sitting second place due to the quality of players we have not the brains of Mr. Grant. I can be the current manager for Chelsea and with the quality of players, I would have done better. The system that Mr Grant has used this season has hurt us badly. Why did he leave Drogba out of such a crucial game against Wigan. This type of game is Drogba kind of game. He should have played him. Mr. Grant needs to leave now if we want to win any silverware next season

At least now the Champions league is still at their reach. Let him stop dreaming of the EPL title cos dreams without action is damn dead. I tip Man U, except there is miracle then otherwise.
