I think the title race is all over after Emile's late goal. Comments?

"It's completely unfair. Most teams never get half of a chance to win titles. American sports are exciting because every year somebody different wins the Superbowl or NBA title or World series, etc."

What they have which the PL doesn't is a salary cap. A Europe-wide salary cap would make leagues much more competitive over time.

So much for the give the manager a chance! Don't forget that under JM, Chelsea never won the CL, and also lost out in the league last season. Grant's come into a difficult situation and got Chelsea very close in the league, and although now unlikely could still win it, but they are no worse than last year, and still have a good chance in the CL. Man Utd have been so impressive this season, can anyone say that if JM, or anyone else for that matter, was in charge of Chelsea they would be in a better position?

It's the same thing as it was with Ranieri. With Arsenal barely in reach in 2004, Chelsea drew 0-0 at home against Middlesbrough, condemning their season, and Ranieri. I think we are not only not killing teams off as has already been expressed, but we are also faltering at the moments when we need to win the games. Grant has been all right, for a manager who has been relatively unknown coming into a hot seat; we, however, need a manager who can cope with the pressure and who can be more consistant. Grant is not a bad manager, and I think he deserves another chance.

I am a Chelsea fan and I belief that the title race is over. Man U has been the most consistent team in the EPL this season and they deserve the title. I have said it from the beginning that the most consistent team will win the title. Eventhough, I would love for Chelsea to win it, but we show no spirit for it. We have not been consistent at all. Chelsea won many games and is right now sitting second place due to the quality of players we have not the brains of Mr. Grant. I can be the current manager for Chelsea and with the quality of players, I would have done better. The system that Mr Grant has used this season has hurt us badly. Why did he leave Drogba out of such a crucial game against Wigan. This type of game is Drogba kind of game. He should have played him. Mr. Grant needs to leave now if we want to win any silverware next season

I don't want Grant to leave, but we really need a
defensive coach especially for set pieces and crosses from the wing. Everybody knows that, even my blind granny. Chelsea seem to be switching off
in the last five minutes and Grant needs to re-examine his motivational skills. He has done well but this is still Joses team and we will never know how Jose would have fared overall, but I believe Jose would also be in the CL Semi
and possibly in front of United or even closer.
The Chelsea players need to ask themselves are they fighting to the finish and playing as a team as United are, I believe not and other teams can sense this. Grant has done well to protect our unbeaten record, but is he a journeyman or a champion. Chelsea hae stuttered this season and whats really annoying is that team selection may hve lost the title, the PL TITLE MISSES STAMFORD BRIDGE, WHY WOULD IT WANT TO GO BACK TO THE DREARY NORTH

Please someone out there should advice Mr. Magic of chelsea that fielded back 11 against Wigan when the blues needed a win to keep in contention to quickly forget the title (if possible loose all matches but prepare for the Champions league. At least now the Champions league is still at their reach. Let him stop dreaming of the EPL title cos dreams without action is damn dead. I tip Man U, except there is miracle then otherwise.

We needed United to mess up twice before the Wigan game. That's still the case - hopefully some Chelsea backsides were booted on Monday night
