U11162760 posted Apr 12, 2008 To all you Spurs fans who 'expected' an easy win for Spurs today. Now that you're feeling disappointed with only a point, may it be a lesson to you in future. I told you that Boro were in good form as proven by their recent performances against the top 4 teams and that it was quite within our means to get at least a draw. In the end we came close to getting all three points. Maybe you won't take us so lightly next time ?

THFCSUPER (U4469090) posted Apr 13, 2008 How many, many, many times does it have to be said. If they are not prpeared to play well in every game and obviously this Spurs team are not then get rid, yes even of so called classy players like Berbatov. They are working for Spurs and if they don't work well they should be fined or sacked. There is so much talk from the big mouths of the Spurs team about how good they are that it is clear to all they are saying we can do but we won't do in certain circumstances. In any other job this would lead to discipline under a conduct code. How about big tough talking managers taking some action? Or are you all scared to introduce a seies of penalties for the players. You are all good enough to moan about ref's not doing their job right, waht about the lazy good for nothing pansies you call professional footballers who are prepared to dish out rubbish to the high paying supporters who watch them. I have to say that after nearly fifty years of supporting them and after the events of this year, I am finding it very difficult to keep supporting them.

westspurwood (U7726688) posted Apr 14, 2008 I must say that Saturday`s game and Newcastle before that show that any pretentions regarding a top 4 finish are well wide of the mark, if the Club expect the supporters to pay the large sums for tickets is it too much to ask that the players actually meet the terms of their very valuable contracts and play to their full capacity in every game? Perhaps we are in line for a refund....trully if we are serious about being a top club and without being disrespectful to our opponents we should be able beat teams outside of the top 4/6 for fun. I found the Middleboruogh game an embarrassment and it would have served us right if Middlesborough had won. Why not ensure this season ends in the worst way possible by recalling Robinson to assist with his move back to Leeds....God willing Comment on this article
